Same in Vietnam. The American puppet remnants, a.k.a. "yellow flaggers", now living in the US, trying to paint many pictures about "the crime of communist party". However, for the average Vietnamese, the VCP committed no crime at all. A little bit corrupt, that's all average people can complain, but no crime.

As I heard from my mother, my maternal great grand-father was persecuted (he was kind of landlord) during Land Reform Program in 1955 in North Vietnam (after the North was liberated). But AFAIK, my maternal family have never had any grudge against communist party and government. All joined the army (both of maternal grandparents and a uncle) or worked for government offices.
