We Don’t Seek Benevolence, But Don't Malign us Either – Part II - Saf Shikan-1.

It all comes down to simple maths, which unfortunately you dont seem to know :)

Sir, you don't seem to realize that personal attacks will get you nowhere and reflect more on you than me.

Now, let's try this again:

Are we to conclude that all the jawans on the front lines are so infused with such zeal and fervor for their duties so as to achieve such feats regularly?

Are we to conclude that the incidence of injuries and debilities in the Pak Army caused by high altitudes are somehow much lower than other Armies in similar situations?

No, we are to conclude that learning simple mathematics can save lots of bandwidth. ;)

And that becoming all teary eyed and emotional at being told such a story is all that can be tolerated here. It's okay. Some people can still see through such veils.

I don't mean to butt-in [pun intended] and serve as an interruption to all the math being thrown back and forth in this thread, but I so happened to find myself scrutinizing @VCheng 's profile picture, and feel compelled to proclaim that the more I stared the more convinced I became that, lo and behold, staring right back at me was the outline of a supple pair of glutes. Having most certainly stated the obvious, I beg your pardon gentlemen. Please do continue.

The third part is almost ready, will post when this would have outlived its utility.

But be warned, some people would require a hell load of viagra when they would read it.

Xeric beat me.. I am preparing our last meeting with the SSg guy and the contents are being reviewed and approved before publishing to ensure nothing classified is posted :).
Much awaited.

Sir, btw I rechecked the trek details, it was 12500 feet ASL. No wonder it took such a toll on us even with moderate weight backpacks:)
Nice. Where exactly was this place?

BTW, Gyari HQ that came under avalanche was at 14k feet.

not ignore the reasons why they are needed to be there in the first place.
Indian incursion .. back in the 80s.. we were never there before

issue over granting visa to climbers didnt mean you had to make that place the highest battlefield.. who was the warmonger?

Let's go even further back. Both countries should sit down and clarify what "thence northward to the glaciers" from NJ9842 actually means rather than this pointless stalemate.

That ship sailed long back my friend. Actual Ground positions is what matters at this time. And like rest of Kashmir, status quo is unacceptable to Pakistan, where as deviation from it does not work for India. Hence the conundrum
