No one won or lost, but Pakistan was definitely very successful and inflicted much more damage to the enemy. If the NLI had more support, especially from NS's government of that time - we would've seen permanent success.

Eleven years after the Kargil war, the Pakistan Army has quietly included the names of 453 soldiers and officers who were killed during the conflict on its website.

The 453 Pakistani soldiers are shown as killed in the Batalik-Kargil sector in Jammu and Kashmir.

The names of those who died in Kargil are tucked away in a list of thousands of personnel killed while on duty posted in the “Shuhada's Corner” (Martyrs Corner) of the website.

That's nothing.
We got Peak 5310 on the Pakistani side of LoC just after Kargil war and captured Peak 5770 from Pakistan Army during Kargil war which is the highest peak in Siachen sector.

In the mid 90s, we captured the massive Anzbari feature on the Pakistani side of LoC in Kanzalwan sector when your Kayani was sector commander and returned it only after Pakistan accepted our terms in the area.
Later we captured the same feature permanently during the Kargil War.

Actually India captured several strategic peaks on Pakistani side of LoC during/immediate aftermath of Kargil.
Such as point 5310 and point 5770 and several others.
