In Balochistan, Waseela-e-Taleem programme was launched in district Nushki under Benazir Income Support Programme to provide a stipend of 200 rupees to each student enrolled in primary schooling program.
Advisor to Chief Minister for Education Sardar Raza Muhammad Barrech was informed at a briefing in Quetta that the programme would initially cover six districts of the province including Awaran, Gwadar, Jhal Magsi, Loralai, Musakhel and Nushki.
The meeting was informed that Federal Government is making efforts to further expand the Waseela-e-Taleem to the far-flung districts of the province.
Speaking on the occasion, Sardar Raza Muhammad said that the present government is extending every possible cooperation for promotion of education in the province.
