Indus River flows through entire length of Pakistan along a north south axis discharging into Arabian Sea. The source is in China. Indus is to Pakistan exactly like nile is to Egypt. Provinces comprising India all have hindu ie polytheist majority. Its a country of majority polytheists. I am not hindu so can't comment further on this. all i know is that they decided to form a union superceding ethnic affiliations. their choice

Acronym? Without English, Pakistan word itself would not have come around.

Unlike you cultural orphans, we (or any civilization) looks WITHIN to understand who they are. Do the Chinese ask the English what to call themselves? Do the Japanese ask the Americans? We don't ask anyone, it is not needed. You of course will not like it - but if you stop hating us, you will cease to exist. That is the raison d'etre of your existence.
