Was Einstein wrong?

Nobody likes tensor mathematics. I completely understand. Could you point me towards these more elegant theories that explain the same phenomena. Cheers.

These are all pretty sophisticated theories that, personally, I only can tell that they are different than relativity. This is the realm of specialists. If I had to guess, Prof. Wu developed a new theory of quantum gravity on an Euclidian geometry, hence what he means by flat space-time.

There is also a theory that I personally find interesting: gravity as an emergent phenomena.

I am aware of the theory of entropic gravity. Purely by chance of course, it is not my field. However none of these theories have had to stand up to scrutiny.

Gravity is as of yet an under explained phenomenon. Einstein believed that space-time was curved which caused propagated gravity in the form of waves. All of these theories are only competing in that subset of his theory. That is not what I was asking for. I am asking for a theory which matches Einstein's general theory of relativity for the entire gamut of relativistic questions.

Einstein is right. space is curved, time varies on speed. that is proven.

I don't think that exists because nobody will invest money in it. You barely get paid for studying relativity itself. I personally believe that theoretical high energy physics is mostly good for bragging rights and producing socially awkward, ultraconservative professors.

If universe is 2D and its drifting away from other end , what is pulling or casing the split of the universe who is pulling from other side

Whatever reason there might be. There is no competitor for Einstein's general theory of relativity.

That's very cynical of you. We should all focus on basic research, I get the feeling you prefer a focus on applied research.

Visual China buys Corbis Entertainment

Chinese image licensing company Visual China Group says it has acquired the image division and content licensing unit of photo library Corbis Entertainment, owned by Microsoft Corp's co-founder Bill Gates.

The Chinese company signed another deal with media service provider Getty Images to distribute Corbis' images and content to customers, thus bringing in a major photo library and an image distributor to China.

Getty Images would distribute Corbis' content, creating a collection of more than 200 million images and videos and certain archived historical content for creative and editorial use.

Following the sale of its image assets, Corbis will be rebranded and its other businesses will operate under a new brand name.

As per the deal, Visual China's division, Unity Glory, will own and manage the images and motion archives, names and trademarks associated with Corbis Images, Corbis Motion and Veer licensing brands.

The financial terms for the deal were not disclosed.

After a transition period, Getty Images said it would offer Corbis creative stills, Corbis Motion content and Corbis archival and documentary content to its customers outside China.

Einstein is famous for his theory of time which called the theory of relativity and it's interesting that another famous jewish scientific giant Karl Max is also famous for his own theory of time which called the theory of surplus value.
It's more interesting that both theories are unpractical.
Perhaps we can conclude that jews make no practical contribtion to human mankind and they are only machines to earn money.

When other scientist did their work they released the research with "references" and thank you notes to previous scientist however Einstein did not showed references to work already proven or close to proven by top scientist of the time

One of the more plausible precursors to E = mc2 is attributed to Fritz Hasenöhrl, a physics professor at the University of Vienna. In a 1904 paper Hasenöhrl clearly wrote down the equation E = 3/8mc2.

He calculated that the motion adds a mass of 3/8c2 times the radiant energy

One naturally wonders whether Einstein knew of Hasenöhrl’s work. It is difficult to believe that he did not, given that the bulk of the prize-winning trilogy appeared in the most prominent journal of the day

Equally surprising is that although Einstein was the first to propose the correct relationship, E = mc2, he didn’t actually prove it, at least according to his own special relativity

(Note all other scientist proposed a equation and were trying to prove their equation Einstine just took the idea and it was self solvable he did not bother showing world the proof of his work)

Yet ... here we are celebrating him

Thomson discovered mass to charge ratio . He did great contribution but he was more like a experimental scientist and he was a great teacher.
He did not create any groundbreaking theory like Einstein.

For now , we have 4 fundamental forces : gravity , electromagnetic,the weak force,the strong force .
Gravity has graviton, e force has photon, the strong nuclear force has gluon.
We are living in the fields of those forces .

And Einstein tried to unify those force fields to one force field which will explain all the phenomenon .

He tried and he failed but modern physics is running in the same direction .

Gravitons have not been proven to exist as of yet. Gravity as a result of the curvature of space-time is not yet a proven concept.
