why ?

1. because there is tremendous pressure from the US to ensure they stay safe
2. because the jihadist networks getting their hands on them are a bigger risk than the pacifist enemy elephant
   
3. they are not a suicidal force, even if some of their proxy jihadis live for suicide jihad

having said that, why so thin skinned, can't even take a little media hammering, that too from the Indian (not international) media. ?

How much did US give Pakistan just to secure its nukes? I've lost count. The issue is not whether the nukes are secured, but who in hell has control of them -- the civilians or the military? It's a legitimate concern.
