Want to leave West

I never faced anything like that and i have been living in UK for more than 13 years. In fact I have openly mocked others when they bring religion or political debate and they tolerated it with grace and often laughed about it so I would say I met very open minded people and some of them were even atheists or agnostics. I remember my atheist manager used to give me break and separate room for prayers
You know that is what is remarkable about UK. You can have the most diverse bunch, uber-Muslims, athiests, agnostics, Hindus, Christians and every nationality or colour but there is genuine effort to tolerate everybody even if there are some spoil sports.

I am interested in a career that is a global career.

Example aviation is a global career so if an Airline in usa tanks there are pilots needed in other parts of the world.

So I dont know maybe that might be helpful for me.

I was considering gulf countrues but they also seem to have the whole arab vs non arab hate disease. I thought of China(xinjiang) but they went ahead and threw all muslims into concentration camps including wives of some Pakistanis. I thought of Turkey but they are very vey divided about accepting proper muslims vs impressing eu/non muslim white people.

What choices would you recommend people??

Arab countries =/= from GCC... it's bigger...

Ummm bro there are Pakistani businessmen saying that they lost their wives to the internment camps.

I think you drank the "muh Uighur" cool aid from the VOA or State Department I have met several of those folks and they all laughed about those so called camps tbh. Then again China would be a good place to move if you knew Mandarin and the customs only same goes for East Asia in general[/QUOTE]

Good luck I was thinking Aviation as career once back in HS but its too demanding for me so I passed that option over for business

Exactly.... that's bulls eye :)

Don't take him seriously.
Don't take me seriously? I said running away is not a solution. But if you want to run away, then go back to Pakistan which is a solution.

I don't know about the US, but in France, Being the Only Minority Family in the countryside, where The majority "Belief" differ from yours, is actually the safest place to be... Even more when your "Position" in the community make you "needed" among you peers.
Even more surprising is how a single different family can drastically change the mentality/POV of an entire community in few years...
That is exactly my experiance in UK. When I have been the only Pakistan I have been subjected a sort of innocent positive curiosity. It's been up to me to then build a positive image on a clean slate. I have always fallen 'Pakistanism' for lack of better word then religion. And despite Pakistan having a negative image I have always had positive reaction. People appreciate when you stand by something but without intruding on, insulting others culture.

I know my answer may not sound good...but this is a fact...
No country will provide same comfort as your motherland....And no other country can provide equality to cultural outsiders like you and me like US and Canada....Even gulf nations are more racist than US to outsiders....That does not mean they are bad....rather that is what their country and their culture built in..
So if you do not like US....no one can provide you comfort than Pakistan...Except Pakistan, US is one of the few countries that even provide a sense of equality to outsiders...

A plate of Nihari and Briyani solves everything basically:yahoo:

Oh a misunderstanding, it was not about you..... rather the OP. He is not what it appears to be...He is taking all of you guys for a ride..

Yes most goraaz are fair people who will not hesitate to criticise their own people if they are on wrong side ..off course we have exception and have some idiot out there who behave stupid because of ignorance but what I appreciate about them is that they hardly get emotional and angry when someone criticise them or policies of their countries .

Jah maan. It might be hard initially as white pilots might not want me getting to the cockpit.

But Im just planning to get the experience and get the hell outta here.

Mmm I hate both. Never served in our household. Simple Pillau with lashing of meat and yougurt - even then only on special occasions. I am not a rice person. Gives you a spike in sugar and then you get hungry. For me meat or chicken karahi eaten with wholemeal nan with some salad and washed down with fresh blended yoghurt/almond/milk drink. MMmm.

A few meat or chicken kebabs are good to go as well ....
