Well, Moududism is basically the South Asian form of Islamic conservatism, however, not as much severe as Wahabism. The term is perhaps named after Abdul Maududi, the founder of Jamaat e Islami. The key difference is, Wahabists like the supporters of ISIS calls for establishing a Islamic State or Caliphate; according to them, democracy is Haram. On the other hand, Moududis promote the idea of Islamic Republic, a system similar to that in Pakistan.

1.Mossad, RAW, Indian Military Intel and Western Intel agencies are all allied when targeting Muslims. Each has an agenda. If it was a simple hate-foreigner killing then surely the target would have been Indian. Indians are the most despised community in BD. There are one mlln legal and another mlln illegal Indians here.

ঢাকা ও রংপুরে দুই বিদেশি নাগরিক হত্যার পর 'সার্চ ফর ইন্টারন্যাশনাল টেররিস্ট এনটিটিস' (সাইট) নামে বেসরকারি একটি গোয়েন্দা সংস্থা দাবি করে, এ দুটি হত্যাকাণ্ডে মধ্যপ্রাচ্যভিত্তিক জঙ্গি সংগঠন ইসলামিক স্টেট (আইএস) জড়িত। যদিও সরকারের পক্ষ থেকে জোরালোভাবে দাবি করা হচ্ছে, বাংলাদেশে আইএসের অস্তিত্ব নেই। কিন্তু এ ঘটনার পর আলোচনায় উঠে আসে সাইট। সংস্থাটি কারা পরিচালনা করছে এবং তাদের কী উদ্দেশ্য, তা নিয়ে প্রশ্ন ওঠে সর্বমহলে।

'সাইট' ইন্টেলিজেন্স গ্রুপ নিয়ে বিতর্ক :২০০২ সালে ইরাক আক্রমণের আগে যুক্তরাষ্ট্রে বসবাসরত মুসলমানদের ওপর কড়া নজরদারি শুরু হয়। ওই সময় রিটা কাৎজ 'সাইট' সংস্থাটি প্রতিষ্ঠা করেন। গোয়েন্দা তথ্য সংগ্রহ ও অনলাইনে ফাঁস করাই ছিল তার মূল কাজ। আল কায়দা নেটওয়ার্ক, আইএসআইএস নেটওয়ার্ক, হামাস, ইসলামিক জিহাদ ও হিজবুল্লাহ নিয়েই তার প্রতিষ্ঠান নিয়মিত প্রচার চালিয়ে আসছে। রিটা কাৎজ কোনো বেসরকারি সংস্থায় কাজ করছেন নাকি কোনো বেসরকারি গোয়েন্দা সংস্থার মুখপাত্র হয়ে অপপ্রচার চালাচ্ছেন, তা নিয়ে বিতর্ক আছে। সিআইএ, কেজিবি, মোসাদ, এম-১৬-এর মতো আন্তর্জাতিক গোয়েন্দা সংস্থা যেসব স্পর্শকাতর তথ্য প্রকাশ করছে না, 'সাইট' সেসব তথ্যও প্রকাশ্যে নিয়ে আসছে। সংস্থাটির এমন সামর্থ্য পৃথিবীর বহু নেতৃস্থানীয় দেশের গোয়েন্দা সামর্থ্যকেও ছাড়িয়ে যাচ্ছে।
মার্কিন ও ব্রিটিশ গোয়েন্দা সংস্থা ইরাক আক্রমণের আগে সাদ্দাম হোসেনের বিরুদ্ধে গণবিধ্বংসী অস্ত্র মজুদের অভিযোগ তোলে। সাদ্দাম হোসেনের পতনের পর সে অভিযোগ মিথ্যা ও বানোয়াট প্রমাণিত হয়। এতে বিশ্বব্যাপী সমালোচনার ঝড় ওঠে। ওই অভিযোগের বিষয়ে প্রচারের দায়িত্ব পরে কোনো দেশ বা সংস্থা সরাসরি নিতে চায়নি। রিটা ও তার সাইট কোনো বেসরকারি সংস্থার হয়ে ওই কাজ করেছিল বলেও ধারণা করেন অনেকে। কারণ, সাইট নামক বেসরকারি এ সংস্থার অর্থায়ন, ইন্টেলিজেন্স সংগ্রহ পদ্ধতি, প্রচারের চূড়ান্ত উদ্দেশ্যও কালো চাদরে ঢাকা। এর মদদদাতাদের পরিচিতিটাও অন্ধকারে।

I can understand the RAW accusations, but Mossad is a huge stretch. We have little to no involvement in the affairs of the Middle East. What does Mossad gain from causing chaos here? I admit I'm skeptical of the killings being credited to ISIS but, Mossad? Really?

Does anyone really believe that everyday Muslims in Bd have time to get outraged by online blogs? The truth is most attacks by extremists in Bd are traceable to small groups of extremists, funded by expats in the UK and US - just like in the blogger cases.

Poor, impressionable young men are fed misinformation and whipped into anger so that benefit-scrounging losers in the UK can feel like they are "saving" Bd and Islam through their tedious lives.

The British PM recently made a controversial speech vowing zero tolerance to extremists and a clampdown on madrasas. But he failed to recognise that the real damage caused by extremists in the UK are to their native countries.

Muslim countries all over the world complain about extremists finding a safe haven in the UK. Most extremists are cowards who will never jeopardise their comfortable lives in the UK but the govt needs to ensure that they are just as liable when they cause trouble elsewhere in the world.

Oh no, you are wrong there. Mossad has geographical coverage over entire globe. Intel Agencies are primarily engaged in collecting info. That is info not only about BD but others also.
