Too afraid or too corrupt to question the Chinese.
No investigation can take place in a couple of days. Why even have this eyewash visit and further damage your own reputation ?

Let us see if China is willing to test blood samples from October 2019 as requested by WHO.
If the 90 Chinese that suffered COVID like disease in September 2019 is confirmed to have been infected by COVID-19
then it explains the mystery illness in Europe and US late 2019.


Please don't say Fort Detrick - WHO already ruled out COVID came from a LAB.

During the WHO delegation’s visit, investigators said they received medical records from Chinese authorities related to about 92 cases of people from the 233 institutions canvassed by Chinese authorities across Hubei. All 92 had suffered from pneumonia or other Covid-19-like symptoms. Chinese authorities subjected those patients to antibody tests in recent months.
About a third had died or refused to participate, said Dr. Embarek. The rest tested negative in serology tests that look for antibodies, he and other team members said.

“The numbers are not so important. What is important is that we don’t really know how reliable serology testing is to detect antibodies for SARS-CoV-2 more than a year after infection,” Dr. Embarek said. Another WHO researcher, microbiologist Fabian Leendertz, said the probability of finding antibodies that late would be low.

If the 90 cases included Covid-19 infections, it could help explain suspected coronavirus cases that researchers believe occurred in Europe and possibly the U.S. in November and December 2019.

Another thing that is not mention, the bats and pangolin in China are too far to make the jump to humans. Even if the lab did research and leaked, it would not have cause an epidemic. They are searching for a new vector.

Fort Detrick biochemical laboratory was shut down right before the pandemic, reason unknown.

Hey you either agree with the WHO that evidence shown by the Chinese makes them believe Covid didn't come from a lab (like Wuhan's) so they stopped their lab theories....or you don't.

The only way to know for sure is test samples. It is important to identify the source down to the actual species and intermediate species so future pandemics can be prevented.
All things considered, China has imposed stricter controls in the trade of wildlife and wet markets all over China. There is wide spread public support in China for these measures.
These are some of the positive from a bleak period in human history.

The infamy of Fort Detrick is linked to cancer deaths as a result of ground water contamination that occurred at the site in the 60's and 70's.
Military facilities are outside the jurisdiction of state and federal courts and so the anger and frustration grows with each petition that is dismissed by the courts.

If US courts can't unlock Fort Detrick then WHO has no chance - only the military commander of the facility, Pentagon or the US President (supreme commander of the US Military) can authorize access to a military facility.
