Party flags are just symbol for their party. If party flags divide nation then multi parties also divide nation. Party flags should not be a concern.

Well, in politics there always be decision and grouping and no ban on party flags will solve that. However, I do agree that party flags should be banned they look hideous and downplay patriotism.

Political party flags are definitely a distraction from unity of nation. Only flag which should be allowed is Pakistan flag. Our leniency in this aspect has resulted in hoisting of party flags at national institutions and has taken it a step further by placing photographs of corrupt political leaders in public offices. It was a shame that President of Pakistan was speaking at UN with his wife's photograph on the rostrum. In CM Sindh's office photographs of Bhutto, BB, AZ and Bilawal have taken precedence over MA Jinnah. Law should be enacted to ban all such activities to ensure Pakistan appears to be a nation rather then a bunch of politically infested banana republic.

A flag is something that innately arouses chauvinism, a flag should only be Pakistan's, any other is unacceptable, plus the parties put a flag up on any public place that they see fit and this need to end as well
