Chinis would obviously support anybody anti Usa or anti India to have nukes.

How is Iran anti India?

OT: I have no problem with Iran acquiring nukes, but I don't want them to. Simply because, if Iran has them, Turkey and KSA will get them too. There is already tensions in ME, and with 4 Nuclear armed countries, it could turn deadly.

Iranians 100% (all say yes)
Pakistanis 80%% (majority say yes to balance the region)
Chinese???
Indians 50% (half and half -- undecided--maybe due to relationship with Israel)
Turks: ??
Saudis 0% (No of course thats their enemy)

Maybe Turks, but why Pakistan? Pak has no animosity with Iran. Pakistan was the one who got Iran started with the nuclear issue.

How about you stop getting manipulated so well by others that you have to always dont have to find yourself pitted against a fellow Muslim country? How about for once your line reads "Yes, Israel has nukes we should build our own." So what if they are Shia or Sunni? When did God appoint you to decide their fate and pick fights with them? The divide and conquer strat is working so well all across Muslim countries including Pakistan that its truly pathetic how little the brain is utilized and how emotions always win.

So what if Iran is bombed like Iraq and stopped from being capable? Only means you are next on the list. And by that time it might to too late of a realization.

What tactical leverage are you talking about ? Our Nuclear Weapons Program is well into its 2nd if not 3rd decade whereas the Iranians haven't even begun yet. In that time we've developed enough capability to build a credible deterrent & to upgrade or downgrade it as per our threat perception.

How can you guarantee they will not actually be used and only used for deterrent, we're living in the real world. Answer is No, absolutely no to a nuclear armed Iran but civil nuclear technology for energy purposes for this oil-rich country is fine under IAEA supervision that's all. Iranians may say this is a domestic issue not when you're a signatory of the NPT and currently enriching Uranium without international supervision.

But of course we have laymen members who don't know much about this issue and agree with yes, good thing they aren't our leaders not to say the current one's aren't rotten already.
