Though more than cleanliness, I think about access.

If we can provide easy access to areas, then the area gets developed and tourists have an easy time. The more an area remains closed off/difficult to get to, it remains unclean, poor and full of touts.

Having great road (new expressways, not the jugad roads we call National Highways) and rail infrastructure running from Delhi, spanning UP and Bihar to say Sikkim.
The few billions required to invest here would pay itself back in barely a couple of years by increased tourism inflows!


I know its not a GoI project, but I dont understand that why GoI is now not interested in extending the expressway from Lucknow (being built by UP Government) to Allahabad and then to Varanasi and then on to Patna.

Or heck why is UP Govt itself is not focusing on taking the expressway forward.

Just imagine, it would transform the economy and translate tourism potential to actual increased tourist inflows.

Rapes happen everywhere, not just in India. There is nothing you can do to prevent a rape. Only place you can make a difference is swift justice. Nothing more than the west with its usual white knight attitude.

Delhi is worlds Capital of fake Rapes considering 78% of the cases are false. Per capita rape in the country is far far lower than any western nation.

Infact half the cases of rape in the entire country are false. The people suffering are not women but men who's lives are being destroyed due to the false cases. Not only that but the women who make these false cases cannot be charged or taken to court and the Men who is charged of a Rape is taken to prison until he is proven innocent. Basically "guilty until proven innocent"

In fact since 2012 the false rape cases have been going up considerably. But yea, nobody cares about the truth anymore. lets not turn a blind eye..

I disagree that Yamuna Expressway is useless. I think its very useful and has boosted tourism and development along the Delhi-Agra belt which was till now connected by a 4 lane congested National Highway.

You can imagine the economic impact if an expressway is made from Delhi to Patna covering all the major tourist locations with good hotels and eating options.

It would not only drive tourism but also the Eastern Industrial Corridor.

Or for that matter a similar quality expressway from Delhi to Mumbai covering Gujarat and Rajasthan (not the NH-8).

Or between Mumbai and Chennai.

The problem, you see. Nobody really gives a damn about what happens to guys who end up with false rape cases. The suffering they go through is no worse than rape and not to mention the isolation. The same is with Dowry cases were majority of the cases are false and men were put in prison until just recently. Govt. changed the laws after noticing how one sided this was. The West gets what they want, the ignorant fools in this country blindly believe everything they hear.

yeah for now Delhi Patna route via Agra sucks it has been saturated by traffic and so many tolls etc even many ancient hindu/buddhist sites of west U.p left out like sankisa(farrukhabad dist.) even then many Japanese,Sri Lankans and asians came and live sometimes for many years whereas govt. failed to provide electricity to these tourist.

I don't think you understand. No matter what we do the media reports will not change. Its not based on reality, its based on who controls the perception of the media. and Currently someone wants to damage India's tourism and health industry.
