Karachi: A lawyer has been killed belonging to the lawyers wing of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) by unidentified men here on Thursday morning in Karachi.
According to police, the incident occurred in Block 7 of Gulshan e Iqbal area of Karachi where four armed men opened fire at a car which killed the lawyer Syed Waqar Shah.
According to the police, the attack seemed to be a planned move.
Just after the incident, Chief Justice (CJ) of Sindh High Court (SHC), Maqbool Baqar has taken notice and also asked for a report to be submitted regarding the incident.
Earlier, at least three people were killed when unknown gunmen opened fire on a group of seminary students in the metropolis.
The gun attack took place near a bakery in Gulistan-e-Johar. A doctor was also gunned down in the same locality a few hours ago. The victim was identified as Dr. Haider Raza.
According to reports, six people were killed in other incidents of violence in the metropolis during the day.
