I have seen LCA being discussed in Vietnam defense forums earlier, but i think it will take another 4-5 years for its mission control software to get matured. Lots of testing is needed which includes stall testing, Low speed flying and landing, integration of various weapons with radar etc.

Tejas has not even come into IAF... why will Vietnamese consider a jet that they will have to wait for 10 years before the local demand can be fulfilled? Dumb thread topic. I wish though that it could be true..
