Your Chinese friends won't like it. And considering the level you profess of your bilaterals with them, you shouldn't indulge with their rivals.

I's a good news but seems to be too late. Only for now that we could open our embassy in Colombo. Hope every best things to our bilateral relationship.

By the way, in the meantime, there is a visit to China by the head of the VCP. In Vietnamese political system, the most powerful and influential man is him, neither Mr President nor Mr Prime Minister.

Vietnam policy is to be friend with the world, no permit to depend on one, there is lesson of past. In fact oil resource in East Sea of Vietnam is limited we may depend on importing oil from Meddle - East in future. Vietnam could do business with India and Sri Lanka as well.

Vietnam's string of pearls against China. LOL ;)

LMAO…most likely Vietnamese President sent a subtle message to India that Vietnam has other option, India is just amount othe bridges to cross to achieve the objective…they know very well what relation between SL and China.

Good news , it'd better to make more friend than more enemy unlike China's policy :D
Don’t flatter yourself, just make few visit to some other countries then you can claim that other consider you as lovely peaceful angel…sound like your president has never step out of Vietnam boundary before.

Good move. Chinese won't like it...

We don’t cry river as you Indians when China cosy with nations in Indian Ocean, one thing to remember we don’t put chain in any nation to be friend with other…even if Pakistan wants to be friend with India…we’re not gonna stop them…that’s our diplomacy principle.

Vietnames are not stupid, they knows that if China sneeze, they will catch cold, India is just unimportant, so send an unimportant man such Vietnamese president to India is enough and reserve most powerful and influential man to pay respect to China…wise move…some time I’m wondering myself If India is using Vietnam or the other way around to achieve their political objective...anyway good move Vietnam

The way Chinese members posted in this forum sound like they dislike Indian and Vietnamese. What a problem with them? Are they buch of lousy members or true keyboard warriors?

I am so supprised, instead of debate they are start to personal attack and racist. By law and by it all means, that a crime. Maybe laws can not be applied by Han's people or something?
