Let us all take a step back from all this negative tone. Let us rise above and look deeper into the context of Sino-Filipino-Viet relationship. I have a firm belief that continued economic integration will dilute any inhibitive verbiage by some politicians. The Philippines and Viet Nam must focus on inclusive economic growth and national development first and foremost. China has already a principle role in this paradigm, irrespective of anti-developmentalist events. Let us reign on in that aspect.

No they are not like flies to be swatted. I don't like this kind of rhetoric that demonizes and repudiates the importance of Viet Nam and the Philippines. Of course the Republic of the Philippines and the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam are both precious to the People's Republic of China, as they are precious to Japan. The immense cultural trade, economic trade, and humanitarianism that populates the sentiments of China, Philippines and Vietnam is testament to this comprehensive relationship. It is essential to Chinese security as well as to Chinese regional integration to ASEAN that relations between Beijing, Manila and Hanoi be improved upon. And I believe that there are active proponents on all three sides to realize this.

Let us be more understanding and fraternal. In the spirit of Asian Integration, my friend.
