Vietnam patrol ship provoke Indonesia Patrol Corvette in Indonesia EEZ

All of these bullshits you said already debunked, no need further argument. Vietnam's GDP sh*t, GDP per capita sh*t, government revenue sh*t, R&D sh*t, government spending sh*t, and so many people here provided the data that you knew are true, but ashamed to admit, and you rely on diverting the discussion so that Vietnam's shitty situation will not be discussed.
Ok you have higher Gdp, have I denied it? Ok now you give me some reasons in what factors Indonesia is ahead? Let’s discuss Vietnam shitty situation.

education
consumption of food and energy
healthcare
infrastructure
military
life expectancy
...
Pls don’t tell me you have more maids in Malaysia. That doesn’t count.

.
You shouldn’t worry of my brain, we are better in the Pisa ranking, forgotten?

Your government should spend more on education. For Vietnamese, nothing is more important than education for the kids. Hamburg is the richest city in Germany, you shouldn’t worry about it. But seriously, I wonder where your government spends the money? You spend less on education, less on health care, less on military, less in infrastructure. Vietnamese eat more, consume more energy, live longer. Obviously you spend more on fuel and food subsidies, on religious schools.

You spend huge sum on Jakarta although you know the city has no future. Your furniture seller announces he wants to relocate but he doesn’t know to where.

Education is everything!

If you are educated, you see the world in different eyes.
@Viet please at least pity your fellow countrymen. Youre making this thread into a massacre of vietnam intelect.

.
Will be? Dont be a liar, this clearly stated Bd state budget for infra spending is 32555 taka crore, or around 3,8 billion US dollar and your state budget is only around 51 billion US dollar with state revenue projected around 26 billion US dollar and those excerpt can be accessed toward bd ministry of finance and become public announcement

https://www.thedailystar.net/frontpage/budget-aims-please-all-1586914

LOL - you do not understand how BD budgets work.

That 3.8 billion US dollars for infrastructure spending is what the BD government will spend out of it's own pocket.
Loans and grants that are being provided from governments and agencies are not included

Let us take some major infrastructure projects that are currently being worked on this fiscal and see how much is just being spent on them:

1. Padma Bridge - 1 billion US dollars
2. Roopur Nuclear Power Plant - 2 billion US dollars
3. Dhaka Metro - 1 billion US dollars
4. Payra Power Plant - 1 billion US dollars
5. Matarbari Power Plant - 1 billion US dollars

Just these 5 that I have listed off the top of my head will cost 6 billion US dollars this year alone.

Revenue for this fiscal 2018-2019(July 2018-June 2019) will come to around 35 billion US dollars as I have said.

Let us see what IMF predicts:

OK, they say a little below 35 billion dollars but remember they predict only 7.3% GDP growth for this year(2018 calendar year) and it looks like GDP growth will actually hit 8.2%(2018-2019 fiscal) as nearly all the data for this fiscal is already in.

Nobody gives a damn about PISA since most testing is not on a random basis, but is instead selected based on socioeconomic factors (if you are from a wealthier status in a country you are substantially more likely to be tested). In the Western nations testing will tend to be uniform with little chance of the most socioeconomically disadvantaged not being tested, in Vietnam the sample will be drawn primarily from those of above average wealth. Simply because Vietnam did not want to lose its image as a re-emerging power in education.. As a matter of fact, there is a sizable proportion of children still remain out of secondary schools in Vietnam. The level of corruption in Vietnam is even higher than it is in Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia and the Philippines. Vietnam’s higher education system also lags far behind those of Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia and the Philippines.

Similarly within Vietnam, there are accusations by the Brookings Institute that the system used for selection systematically excluded the lower socioeconomic status students from the sample. There are also challenges to the statistical validity of the methods used to analyse the data for PISA.

With all that being said, I wouldn't be surprised if there is no Vietnam universities that made it to the top 100 Asia university rankings at all.

Dude whats the point of showing your economy to us? Youre infrastructure project pale in comparison to us, did you build longer toll roads than us,did you build more power plant, did you build more ports, airports etc? No....so stop lecturing us on economy or else you will be massacred like @Viet

BD will be spending 17 billion US dollar on infrastructure this year which is 6% of GDP - you are on only 3% of GDP.
Infrastructure is critical to maintain fast growth and Indonesia needs to spend much more - maybe double what it is spending.

PS - BD government revenue for 2019 will be around 35 US billion dollars.
6% of gdp vs 3% of gdp. Mind to remember you that our gdp is now in $1 trillion mark unlike your $200 billion or so gdp.

Massacre? - stop being pathetic.

When did I ever say that BD is ahead of Indonesia. In fact it has only 40% of the GDP per capita of Indonesia. What is the difference is that BD is growing at 8% and Indonesia at only 5%.

I am just trying to say that Indonesia needs to spend more on infrastructure as that is hindering it's growth rate. 3% of GDP on infrastructure is simply not enough. 5% GDP growth at this level is not enough and you risk turning into Brazil forever, doomed in the "middle-income trap".

Now stop being sensitive and let us have a productive discussion.

Ok , but i'd like to remind you that this thread is mainly about vietnam and Indonesia. So could we just talk abouth these 2 countries. Otherwise the thread should be renamed "Vietnam Patrol ship provokes Indonesian pattol corvette as a result of Bangladesh infrastructure spending".

OK, I am out now.

. .
I never say Vietnam has more people than Indonesia. What you mean with superpower? I say we surpass them such as in education. Have you seen Vietnam Pisa rankings in Math and Science?
As low income country we surpassed developed countries as US and UK. The only country that achieved such feat. Ok Check Indonesia Pisa ranking! You find them at the bottom.

Embarrassing for a self declared ASEAN leader.
Can you provide hard data that you're ahead Indonesia in education fields (compare both country education system) @Viet o_Oo_O, the manufacturing aircraft, ships etc etc so that's a proof they have better education then your pathetic country, use the commonsense and logic, which you lacks @Viet :crazy::crazy:

.
Ah, one less trouble to deal with, so we can focus on the little twat that is @Viet , let's see if this genius 160 IQ PISA 600 scorer could give us anything other than the usual retarded statements.

in All off them they ahead of you, you have no influence on science/politics on global/regional level, you're irrelevant country on the planet @Viet you lack a commonsense/logic and these subjects are already cleared by lot of Indonesian here, you're just jester/clown in this thread, in fact your whole country is acting like mad/insane jester/clown @Viet and kindly tell me what is the GDP please explain @Viet :crazy::crazy:o_O

Apparently their better education systems with superrior PISA score creating masses of ilegal poacher and thief, unlike what uncle Ho Chi Minh dreamed on in the past. They needed genius to manning fishing boats

No logic, just incoherrent ramble

If you are educated, you see the world in different eyes.

Had your teacher in Vietnam told you stealing other properties is bad and warrant punishment? If not, there is no wonder corruption in Vietnam keep getting worse by each passing years.

Ah btw, this will open your eyes in many sector your education system still fall through average regional standard though

Never enough, even if Indonesia spending all of her state budget (around 210 billion US dollar) on infrastructure it will be never enough because we got a country much larger than the rest of ASEAN combined. But we spend much of our budget towards infra spending, with 29 billion US we spend much larger than the whole of Bangladesh state revenue in 2019

https://theinsiderstories.com/indonesian-govt-prepares-us-for-infrastructure-projects-in-2019/

Please ignore the illiterate bangladeshi. He thinks infrastructure spending tabulation in one source is equivalent to another automatically.

When you use same standards, of course inevitable happens (even with nominal):

(2016)

48 billion for Indonesia

12 billion for BD.

https://outlook.gihub.org/countries/Indonesia

https://outlook.gihub.org/countries/Bangladesh

======

Then he seems to think Rupiah and Taka have same purchasing power w.r.t USD conversion lol (i.e what does economic profile of country look like compared to the exports/imports composition that determines exchange rate).

Then add on top he thinks projection = completion (and we all know how bad BD realising its "projected" budgets have been thanks to bottom ranked corruption and kleptocracy).

Autistic boy trying to enter the room where actual economies that matter like Indonesia and Vietnam are being discussed.

Wtf UKBengali, your lecturing attitude is the cringiest thing that i have seen in awhile, showing only a bread crumb to fix the hellish BD's transport infrastructure??? Hell no. If you just don't believe me, then just type "Bangladesh" on google image, and even simple machine like that will shows us the truth about the whole situation. Even then, this guy thought that BD is in any position to lecture Indonesia, what a f*cking b*llsh*t.

Bangladesh and Bangladeshi does not have the best reputation in Southeast Asian countries (except maybe if your lover Viet said otherwise), so many controversial things and stereotypes, and i advise that you don't tarnish the bad image any further. And of course, always remember that BD is not in a position to lecture Indonesia, not in a single thing, as you might forgot this truth after being a resident in the far away UK.

He's an idiot....he literally thinks BD will surpass Indonesia in just 10 years time lol.

You can post information about BD people socioeconomics in literally the country he is living in (that he calls as racist because hes an ingrate):

https://defence.pk/pdf/threads/shou...-indian-elections.616278/page-6#post-11429971

and he will still say in few years time we will catch and surpass waaaah! Because BD govt is pure truth and can never make anything up!....and then scurries to find tiny a,b ,c cherry pick and ignores the whole mountain of larger data lol.

Like you tell me, any country that claims TFR to be 2.1 at home will have TFR among its people (in far wealthier country that is far more credible/neutral in stats measurement) to be 3.3? It makes sense to you? Look at everyone else in that table...more or less fits what they record back home......but BD? Naaaaaaah speshul case!

And he will still say its all super different back home just because BD govt (that rigs elections, wins at 95% seats, ranks worst 10% percentile in corruption in world) claims so!

Maybe Indonesians can tell me, are you guys facing real household income decline because the growth is mostly inflation in the end? Look at table at bottom, their own data, just in report itself it was not calculated and shown (simple application of inflation rate) because the truth is inconvenient:

https://opinion.bdnews24.com/2017/12/18/where-did-the-benefits-of-economic-growth-disappear/

Truth is the enemy in BD.....delusion is their friend. When you remove them from their little swamp and put in UK, some can become even more delusional...and also ingrate/resentful at the new host country (no matter how much better they have it there) because the reality is brutally shown to them each day.

Not a once, cause the gov and public always watching real purchase power of household income and just like other developing countries always keep the watch of population real income by their occupation units for better management (like subsidy in fertilizer and farming tools for farmers, subsidy in energy or free toll roads fee for logistick sector, and else). Inflation rates is quite low here hovering at two to three percentage per year.

No need to rig the election here lah, people voice is divine here even good people like Ahok can goes away because of people voices and choice, quite sad but thats what a real democracy it is sometimes some jerk can be a leader but public can judge what it is the best for them and not to Repeat that mistake again, US as the world superpower can cope with that kind of challenge since their humble beginning.
