Vietnam patrol ship provoke Indonesia Patrol Corvette in Indonesia EEZ

The Hanoi and Saigon metro system have had delays on the Chinese and Japanese built lines due to a lot of corruption from local contractors and just generally poor planning. Heck, it's now 3 years behind schedule. Even Jakarta which started construction our first MRT one and half year later already started operational now.

Ah what is going to happen with Jakarta metro once you abandon it and move another place?
Return the land to the mosquito?

Ofcourse not you dumb twat... if the capital is moved, Jakarta won't be left behind for sure as the economic activity of the whole archipelago is centered there. Billions of USD will be still invested to make it more functioning. Check out this article below:

https://finance.detik.com/properti/...dah-bagaimana-nasib-investasi-rp-571-t-di-dki

President Jokowi has said the central government approved infrastructure projects worth Rp 571 trillion (US$40.12 billion) in Jakarta whether the capital to be moved or not. :enjoy:

"According to the Jakarta administration, the city will have 223 kilometers of MRT tracks, 116 km of light rapid transit (LRT) tracks and a bus rapid transit (BRT) network that covers 2,149 km. In addition, the city also set a target to provide tap water services to all Jakarta residents, develop waste treatment facilities and construct some 600,000 residences."

On the contrary, in Vietnam the government has stopped financing the Saigon metro project from the State budget. As a result, the project has been suspended for a while now, due to deferred payment of hefty sums for Japanese contractors. Meanwhile in Hanoi, the metro service failed to roll at the end of April as planned again since construction is still not complete, due to a lot of corruption from local contractors and just generally poor planning.. So much for so called the first world class infrastructure.:rofl::rofl:

BD taxes car imports very highly as it does not want mass car ownership.
BD government wants a fast rail link between capita Dhaka and port city Chittagong with journey time 1.5-2 hours to be completed by 2022, at cost of 6 billion US dollars.
Metro rail will also be built in Chittagong.
If you want to travel in BD, it will be mainly rail, bus coach and boat. Cars are discouraged.
Who will fund and build the metro?

You are not up to date. Saigon has the money. She will pay it. the first metro line will operate next year. Second metro line construction will begin shortly.

Now we have a new grudge match, Indonesia v Vietnam. Mind you this all amateur business. If you want to see wars head over to the Middle East section.

Most probably Japan as Japanese companies are showing massive interest now in BD infrastructure -an agreement has already been signed with Japan.
-BD wants to encourage foreign companies to build the infrastructure and then get their money back by operating them for some decades before handing back to BD. BD also tends to pay around 25% of the cost of the large infrastructure projects out of it's own pocket.

Still we have seen multiple delays already, despite the funding is by no means insufficient..The project has been announced to be completed in 2018 backed in 2015 (or so it seemed), but nothing has gotten going until this year. Now, it has been delayed until 2021 at the earliest.

You see, Japan has given Vietnam the ODA loans, which is a huge amount of loan, for the upgrade in the infrastructure since a decade ago, but for some reasons, the central government in Hanoi doesn’t want to release the fund to Saigon to pay the Japanese contractors, so there have been delays because the contractors didn’t get paid.

With all that being said, it proves that your corrupted government very incompetent and untrustworthy. While Vietnam is pacing forward slowly, all your neighbouring countries are running forward fast and leaving Vietnam far behind..

There’s a saying in Indonesia which says... Winner have a thousand ways, losers have a thousand excuses! What you’re doing now is giving lame stupid excuses. That’s why Vietnam is underachieved. :enjoy:

LOL at the bong saying BD will surpass Indonesia hahaha:

Indonesia consumed more energy per person in the 70s than BD does today

What happens when that green stuff 0-tariff access is removed by the largest richest consumer country just a little bit (so level playing field comes into view)?

Yep you guessed it :lol::

What you think happens if EU does the same thing for country reliant on 0-tariff LDC access? Everyone else that gives no such access to "free 0 competition because you are basket case" imports next to zilch from BD (be it Asia, Middle East etc).

So what is propping it up? Something from inside or simply feelings from outside because you got on knees and begged?...and now you are hooked on it because 90% reliance on it?

You call this going to compete and surpass Indonesia "Easily"?

Why BD person even enters this comparison to try put down Indonesia is hillarious.

Vietnam and Indonesia are far more successful today than you ever will be little twit.

Please Don't lock.
This is civil so far and quite informative actually with respect to both countries even though it had deviated from the original focus on ships ramming each other.
Quite interesting, and funny.

Coming from someone that bitches at his failure in life being because "British people are racist deep down"...its even more hilarious:

Unfortunately beneath the polite veneer, British are a racist lot.

Lives in UK, cries that everyone is waisssist.

A twit AND ingrate. Takes real effort to be both at same time.

Mostly because Southeast Asia itself is more peaceful than the Arab world. After the end of Cold War only major source of conflict in the region is the Vietnamese occupation of Cambodia and perhaps Burma’s ethnic war.

Most of the conflict (aside from the Vietnamese's) are domestic and in negligible scale. There was also little attention and involvement from major foreign power which means at the end of the day there’s not many fuel to feed the fire and thus overall situation was relatively peaceful.

Compare that to the middle east, we have seen conflicts after another and the Arab League reason of existence itself was also quite war-like (to defeat Israel and ward off foreign influence) compare to the purely economic purpose of ASEAN.

The Arab world also saw major intervention from the most powerful group of nations on earth in their conflicting interest. This mean that they have both the will and the mean to fight an international war. As such the League look a lot more martial in comparison. :enjoy:
