Video showing USA cop gunning down black suspect

While in many cases USA black is clearly violent and life threatening to law enforcement officers, this video shows police are most at fault for killing the suspect.

I serve in military and to be specific, the police unit of the military. The engagement rule is you shoot only when life are in jeopardy, and in this case, it is not. I was taught to target the legs and not the torso. And once the suspect is being debilitated, do not fire anymore shots. The police hit the target 3 times.

USA police certainly have professionalism issue.

Oklahoma police have released an extremely graphic body-camera video showing an officer chasing and shooting down a black man suspected of making gun threats. The first-person clip was meant to justify the cop’s actions, but raised controversy.

In the video, Muskogee, Oklahoma officer Chansey McMillin is seen arriving to investigate a 911 call, which said an armed man was threatening a woman. The call was made by the local Pastor Andre Jones, and was about a woman attending a church wedding, who reportedly turned out to be the suspect’s girlfriend.

The officer asks Walker, who is seemingly nervous, to relax. However, the suspect then breaks away from McMillin and sprints down the road, while the officer immediately chases him, readying his weapon. Seconds after, Walker drops something on the road and abruptly stops to pick it up.

At this moment McMillin fires five shots at the man, with three of them hitting the target. Walker falls to the ground – he was later pronounced dead on the scene. Police searches his body and picks up an item, which is said to be the suspect’s handgun, but is not clearly visible.

In the U S---the police officer is trained to shoot in the chest---and a typical shooting will be when the magazine is empty----ie once you start shooting---you shoot to kill and donot stop till you have finished the magazine---then reload immediatley and re-assess the situation before pulling the trigger again.

A lots of criminals maybe high on drugs and may not stop retaliating after just being shot once----remember the Al Pacino movie---.

I practice it mysef and tell my kids do the same---when the cop asks you to do something---listen and OBEY---. If they ask for driver's lic---ask permission to reach in your pocket to extract---if they ask for registration---ask permission to reach into gove box to retrieve---when they pull you over in the day time---roll down your front and back windows ( expecting power windows ) at night time do the same----turn the inside dome light on---and put your hand on the steering or outside of your window.

Make te job easier for the cop---make your self move visible to him---by your posture let the cop know that he is in control and then pray---for you catholics---do 10 hail marys---for you muslims---10 Ya Allah Ya Rahim Ya Karim---for you hindus---10 Ram rams---hopefully it will be n uneventful stop.

Absolutely---when the cop shoots---it is at the largest mass area----which is the chest---you would rarely see head shots----head shots only may become criminal intent to execute---even for a cop.

When criminals are using cop killer bullets---ie hollow points it gets very difficult to stop a nervous cop---.

why run? why resist??? any normal person would just comply. if you are innocent then fine no biggie. it's just a inconvenience, but being dead is final.


and don't talk to the police. it's your right not to talk, but don't give them a reason to gun you down like some kinda mad dog.

I just hold US cops in higher regard than Brazilian, Pakistani or Nigerian cops. I don't think there's wrong with shooting a suspect when endangered, but why are US cops shooting to kill? Take a look at German cops, who are taught to avoid using their firearms whenever possible.

I just hold US cops in higher regard than Brazilian, Pakistani or Nigerian cops. I don't think there's wrong with shooting a suspect when endangered, but why are US cops shooting to kill? Take a look at German cops, who are taught to avoid using their firearms whenever possible.

it's simple anything can happen. i've seen videos of cops getting killed on site before they can even get their gun out. i've seen a video of a cop try to talk down a man for 10 minutes and that man went into his truck and pulled out a M1 Carbine and killed that cop. the sounds of that cop dying still gives me chills.

Every Military train soldier to shoot to kill, except if you are a sniper , where you shoot to wound to possibly bait other.

You dont shoot to wound with 5.56FMJ as they will shoot back, i was shot once by an iraqi insurgent and i manage to shoot him dead with my M4.

I was a conscript in Singapore military.

I was posted to a few branch. Receive basic training as infantry, and then serve in some sort of military police. The infantry doctrine will never ask you not to kill. In infantry, the more you kill the better.

Only the military police has certain engagement rules against intruders or during duty. I was thinking it is an intriguing idea that police has shoot to kill doctrine.

Yes, cops have died before. Hardly gives cops an excuse to shoot down other suspects.
