Punishing is the prerogative of ALLAH, the Creator.

How conveniently you left out parts where God himslef says how he dearly wishes to pardon, forgive and bless his creation i.e the human beings and rest of creation. How conveniently you have left out parts where He says that he is near to us than our jugular vein. And when He says He will bless us with possessions of this world and enjoyment unimanigable in the next life. Indeed He is king of the Heavens and Earth.

The instances where his mercy is mentioned are far greater than verses of admonishment and punishment.
