Video: Chinese Reception of Modi

.
Modi has always been received well by the CPC for some reason even when he was not leader of India. I guess China and Modi's state had good economic relations so CPC respect him.

@TaiShang @Chinese-Dragon

Other than some internet egotistic posters and clashes at high level (between geopolitical ambitions of leaders and military), the common educated folk know that both Chinese and Indian cultures follow Asian philosophy of Peace, Harmony, Dharma etc.. They are very compatible. The movement of people, students and ideas is needed to facilitate a better understanding between countries and resolve all differences.

Much ado about nothing. Chinese receive all foreign dignitaries the same way.

This came out of the chapter in the 'Dynasty warriors handbook for welcoming foreign heads of state'.

I wonder what Mao would think of extravagant imperial style ceremonies and rituals.

BTW, I reckon I would look smashing in gold armor like that. It wouldn't stop a spear thrust but my self esteem would be so high and more than enough to hold a gatehouse against an army like Lu Bu.

That is a `city entry' ceremonial at a historical capital city. Few such cities still keep this tradition.

I think Chinese armour was the most aesthetically pleasing in the ancient world.

Chinese and Japanese Armours, one of the best in the ancient world and most beautiful ones as well.

Friendship of titans. Either that, or let's destroy all that they've worked for so hard and so long.

Nope. Nonsense.
What do you mean? You mean the other foreign dignitaries do not get the Three Kingdoms treatment? Or do you mean we treat other dignitaries like crap but treat Indians the best?

Hold on mate. I only meant that this is not a standard reception, and that it's only given to certain heads of state. And no, you don't treat the rest like crap.

Even visiting dignarties from tiny african nations get the guard of honor in beijing, this is nothing special. Its because Xian never gets an visiting dignatries. These performers actually work in the re-enactment industry in Xian, for ceremonies / historical events as Xian was Chang'an the capital of early chinese dynasties.
