Their hulls are different, however they look similar.
Most of military ships uses similar stern designs mostly based on DTMB5415, for bow design it varies.
Any ship with a conventional single hull form with block coefficient below 0.6 will look similar to an inexperienced eye.
Dozens of other ships with similar hull forms use Smart-S. It is used quite widely.
They are not based on the same template, they have similar sizes-nearby displacements. They entirely serve different purposes. Ada class' design dates back to end of 90s.
We are based on same template, you are my twin then. Or anyone with same height-weight can be considered as my twin or relative, got two arms, two legs and a head on the top. How strange.
Freedom class LCS looks quite like Ada-class but how irrevelant.
