Most of those people are not guilty for what their corrupt communist government brought them... like all other places where Marxists came to power.

Back in the days Venezuela used to be one of the richest countries in Latin America, a country with some of the biggest natural resources in the world, with so much good quality land to feed all it's population and export food... a country with so much potential is turned into a place where people can't even buy food from the stores.

The Airline i work for stopped flights to Venezuela but we had one machine left there in Caracas. Because of that a team was send to bring her home...

I had the opportunity to talk to one of them and what he told me is absolute shocking. Its beyond what you usually read in the media.

Entire caracas is dark at night. Electricity is shut down. The supermarkets are empty. No rice, no sugar, no flour, no noodles. Nothing. The only thing you can buy there is diet coke. The markets are full of diet coke. He said its the only thing they can produce because lack of sugar.

People are not allowed to go "shopping" as they want. They have special week days for each ending number of your passport.

The lanes infront the markets are 500 meters long. People are starving. Not only poor people but also the higher classes. He said even the air traffic controllers looked sick.

They live from cooked chicken skin, a few bones and a hand of rice they cook and eat and call it "Maduro diet".

I must say...i dont understand how this is possible. Venezuela is such a beautiful nation. Its full of natural wonders and fertile. Evrything grows there. It feels horrible to see a society collapsing.

When i was a kid we had an exchange studend from Venezuela at school. His name was Jose and he was a nice guy. I hope he and his family are fine.

But honestly i think Venezuela is way beyond the point of no return.

No, it's not possible for me to show ANY sympathy to an enemy. As an enemy, it's my 'obligation' to bust their balls any way possible.Yes, an enemy. Just ask Maduro. He'll tell you himself that the 'Imperialista Norte' is his sworn enemy. That's good enough for me. I don't beg ANYONE to be my friend. And as far as the people go, they were the ones jumping around in the streets saying how bad we suck. The majority thought they were cool, with a cool name, the 'Chavenistas'. HAHAHAHAHAHA !!! I still remember when people on this forum went gaga over how venezuela was utilizing its money for uplifting the poor and showing US the middle finger. How US was an imperialistic prick, run by crony capitalists and venezuela was a paradise.

There were other issues, but it all essentially came down to the price of oil. Chavez was doing great when his government was spending a bunch of money from oil revenue and raised living standards. Maduro tried to do the same thing. It worked just fine until the money from oil dried up.
