What's new

Usman buzdar enters the arena, calls meeting as CM Punjab?

. . .
he's only the "chief minister elect", last I heard he was still running around courts to get someone to administer him the oath. quite a blatant violation of the constitution by the President, governor and speaker if you ask me. in India this stuff wouldn't fly, here Vajpayee had the dignity to give a long and great speech after he lost the no confidence vote, he accepted the defeat and that great speech is still in everyone's memory today.

. .
Finally, someone stood up for Punjab, thank you Usman Buzdar on other hand this is what the so-called new cm is doing in meetings.

That darbari culture is killing us since East India Company's arrival. Especially, at 20:06.

The main reason was greed. Eveyone wanted the throne that change hands (tashreef precisely) many times in few years when company first came. They saw that it can be exploited and rest is history.

In India, did the Army leadership engage in a conspiracy to overthrow the elected government?

There is nothing wrong with an organic, constitutional change in government, whether via elections or a vote of No Confidence - what happened in Pakistan is not that.

There is absolutely NO PROOF that would support your contention. What happened in Pakistan was due Constitutional process, that will lead to the next elections as specified. The game goes on to the next innings under the same umpire. The system endures, for better, and for worse.

Yes, a super constitutional process where the Lawmakers who were elected on PTI ticket floor crossed and were openly caught selling their votes in Sindh House.

Yes Sir, super constitutional process.

The diplomatic cable, the fact that the cable was initially hidden from the elected Prime Minister and the Foreign Minister, the statements of the COAS from various PR events he has undertake since the conspiracy to overthrow the PTI government came to fruition, the statements of the DG ISPR in his press conference - everything supports the claim that the Army leadership conspired with a corrupt opposition and possibly the US to conduct a regime change operation in Pakistan.

I understand that your loyalties require you take every possible position that is damaging to Pakistan, and honestly you can keep screaming in the wilderness with a handful of PDM touts and various Indians supporting you.

Hahaha This is epic!

Rula Rula kar nanga karo. The more the courts intervene, the worst off the entire PDM/Govt/Fauj looks.

In another news, I saw posters of Bajwa taking credit of Pakistan's successful foreign policy. He has to be the first army chief who has had to run a PR campaign!

he is the least popular and most hated person in Pakistan now..... more so than yahya khan and that says something!

The umpire has always been supra-constitutional, and always accepted as such. Why object now? Please see below as well.

Besides, no PTI MNAs voted for the VoNC, and still the motion had enough votes to carry. So there was no floor crossing by any PTI MNAs, was there?

Tsk, tsk. I thought you were above ad hominem attacks, but the paucity of any cogent argument leads you to such low levels, obviously. No problem. What I am saying is not damaging to Pakistan. The chaos that you are trying to support is, actually.

What you cite as "evidence" for a political claim made by a duly ousted person is not proof, is it? Just because you believe the claims hook, line and sinker does not prove anything.

Let's make a bet: let the events unfold as they will, and we can resume after we see who is saying the right thing. What's the rush? If exPMIK truly has grassroots support, he will be able to force early elections. If his previous win was engineered by the umpire distributing envelopes of cash, then this present outrage will simply be ineffectual.

What say you?

Awam voted for Imran Khan how can awam ka numainda vote against Imran
Pakistan doesn't have a presidential system. no awam except people of his constituency voted for him, they voted for the local PTI MNA. I'm not a constitutional expert, but from all I've read in papers like Dawn etc, all constitutional experts say floor crossing is legal, there was nothing wrong in the no-confidence voting.
