User 'based' News Section

Looking at the news section, it's a bit dry. I think the mods/admin should pick a certain amount of stories a week and add them to the news section. A new category should be made called something along the lines of "Threaded News" and another one for news that mods & admins post. Admins/mods will pick a thread on events affecting Pakistan, edit it so it seems like a news article and post it in the news section, also blog posts could be posted here aswell as threads. Mods could also edit in the forum communities views about the event.

I think this would bring more activety to our portal, and it may bring in more search engine traffic.
