As we all know that political parties now using the social media for their promotion in the youth. first of all PTI started to use facebook for the promotion as the voluntarily people doing it on facebook. then N league and other parties also started to promote on facebook.

Social Media which is one of the most important tool of marketing now days all over the world and you would found that there are great number of celebrities are using facebook, twitter and other social media to promote them selves. yet in pakistan we are not using the facebook and other social media as we can do it.

There are lots of people who yet don't know the effectiveness of social media and not using this tool of marketing.

dear members plz comment below about the effectiveness of social media.

Good post mate yes social media can effectively used even in politics..You can look at Egypt and Tunisia revolution the main catalyst behind them where social media . Especially it can be a great tool for mass mobilisation of masses.

^^ Tunisia..? by the way the youth in England also used BB to manage their chaos, so the terrorists in Karachi last year, and so was orange revolution back in 2004 thought to be triggered by sms campaign.

anyhow, social media is a feedback to mass media and a counter to mass media... its people to people sharing the right information directly, but to extract the right information is a task... people dont buy crap these days...that is why journalists and other pseudo intellectuals are quite offended over the direct feedback they get on their work...

I like twitter, its more focused on information, rather than socializing with my circle, who mostly I dont need to know...
