Exactly. And a Navy base in Singapore, along with access to an Air base U-Tapao in Thailand and an Air-Naval base Subic Bay in the Philippines and a Maintenance base Cam Ranh Bay in Vietnam... will help the U.S protect its national interest in SCS.
