Well the insurgencies within India is reducing day by day...Things r becoming stable these days...
But im not saying that its been wiped out entirely... All im saying is things r improving...
We have several consulates in a Afghanistan not to destabilize pakistan....
They are there to issue visas for afghans to visit India and learn how to establish business, get education and all....
They also help them visit hospital need, agricultural needs, Irrigation projects and all...
Afghanistan and India are traditionally allies....
And now when they r in trouble we stepped in to help them..thats all...
Even after US leaves Afghanistan, India will continue to play a key role over there....
India was the top country ordinary afghans preferred to help and assist them compared with countries like US, Pakistan and all...
Hope u might have read the poll posted here sometime ago....
Pakistan is destabilizing not because of some Indian consulates in Afghanistan...
People in Pakistan are responsible for it

US wants regional players to take ownership

After all, it did not take any of the countries, bordering Afghanistan, into confidence when it invaded Afghanistan maddened by 9/11 attack on the World Trade Center. With the only exception of India, none of the neighbouring countries had welcomed the US invasion of Afghanistan undertaken on the pretext of eliminating Al-Qaeda and Taliban.

Is there a source for this or is it just another TheNation's creation like those fake wikileaks?

Stupid American Regime and Stupid Indian regime don't realise they have no border with Afghanistan. America has to leave and India has at best a minor role.

Indians could do well to sort out their own issues like insurgencies before playing the white man's proxy in our region

Pakistan has no border with US, and it still gave them an airbase when they were on their 'peaceful rise' back in the day. Stupid pakistani regime should realize global powers like China/US/Russia etc can not be trusted and using them for short term goals will only get them screwed at a later stage. but they dont seem to have learned any lesson from their past experience and are still ready to be China's proxy in South asia.

The Americans are destined to leave Afghanistan much sooner rather than later. No doubt about it. Even a blind man can sense an abrupt end to the war in Afghanistan. Another reason why the Americans are now so desperate to involve the direct neighbors of Afghanistan into the fold. The bitter truth is that the Americans couldn't achieve any tangible success after a decade of bloodshed. Even the most staunchest of US allies are now reluctant to participate in the battlefront. Some have already withdrawn troops or cut the number. The amount of allied troops involved in combat operations are reduced drastically. Many allies are taking cover under reconstruction and rehabilitation projects. The Americans are willingly negotiating with the Taliban. Even an exit year has been announced. Not to mention the latest US mishaps brewing anti-American sentiment among the ordinary Afghans. It doesn't take Houdini to predict a US exit.
