Don't think they are sealing the border for Pakistan's sake,they are primarily doing it to protect themselves from further attacks by the Haqqani faction(their claims,not mine).Pakistan stands to benefit from this action too.

To entertain both assertions would mean somebody is obviously lying.

We know very well whats happening there..

Yup It will be beneficial for Pakistan if US seals the boarder, but sincerely..

They cant do it. Its a wish. I mean guys, c`mmon..lets not think globally (where every country has defined border with guards on it). Think locally with respect to this case. It is not possible to seal that border and put guards on it. period. It has not been done in centuries, it cant be done. This is the ground reality of that area

Even if the forces put a "fence" there, it`ll be a matter of days that the fence gets holes in it - big enough to allow a human to pass through.
