What is the point in alienating the intelligent and friendly part of the community, just to possibly upset a couple government-media "friends" who are obvious anyway?
I post similar abrasive-but-joking comments in a US-centric forum, but you have to understand your audience. You use esoteric slang that can be very local in nature., as well as emphasis cues that don't always translate. It is impossible to read tone even from a native English speaker, so constantly posting American-style sarcasm and humor doesn't seem productive. There is almost no chance that your posts are being read the way you think they are being conveyed.
If people who were not taught English as their first language can hold their own in conversations per instruction, then at least an attempt to avoid looking like a stereotype who hasn't traveled outside of their own county should be made.
I am not saying we should cater or be nice to the questionable-motive trolls you mentioned, they will move on or be banned eventually. But the same way
you begin to associate a flag with a certain prejudice based off of the more flamboyant personalities, the mature and knowledgeable contributors here do as well.
