when PAKISTAN try to solve it bilaterally then they cry at every world forum. Double standards at it's best.

There is no force on this earth that can mediate between India and Pakistan. India has made it clear...you want business keep quite...if you make noise of mediating you will be ignored even if you are US.

One wonders if the offer is even an earnest one? May be they made the offer just to please Pakistan, knowing India would refuse. It's not like US is going to push the issue. There is no penalty for India saying no.

yawn the world laughs at India when they keep repeating the same old bile they have been sprouting for decades. The rest of the world pays no attention to these india claims.

Actually from 9/11 to Osama to recent London and St petersburg attacks, world can only laugh at its own ignorance by not taking cue from India's experience.

Pakistan cannot make US mediate in Kashmir by increasing Nukes, Chinese investment and/or giving bases to Chinese subs. Infact, such blackmailing has always backfired.

Furthermore, i find US offer hilarious after they themselves lead Salala attack, Drones using hellfire missiles and surgical strike in Abottabad, 1km from Pakistan Military academy.

It was not even an offer.
Niki Haley being a newbie in her job and also in US foreign policy has little to no knowledge of US stance

Partially True.
This logic doesn't apply to China and India.
Oh yes others have to follow for financial aid or loans.

Actually, only Russia and China plus their cronies such as Syria and North Korea can occasionally say no to US. Unless India live in a superpower 2030 world. It follows US lead.

It was asked by a Pakistani journalist in a press conference. And that was Nikki's response. I don't think that is US government policy. Trump is yet to take a stand on Kashmir. And it will be clear once Modi and Trump meet this summer. However, by making it clear on Kashmir, India has made is clear to US where its redlines are.

Simla agreement 1971
which clearly says, Kashmir is Bilateral issue and no third party will be involved.

Pakistan has accepted it by signing it. Even the Pak govt. agrees to it. This is why they demand to talk on Kashmir. But here normal and common Pakistanis are not aware of it.

India understands its strengths especially its huge population, fast growing economy and very large military. US India have mutually beneficial relationship...US wants India to challenge China...where has India can get tech and military wares for that favor. Both have $120 billion of trade and growing at a rate of 20%. Win-Win for both.

Simla is the end of UN resolutions. Anyway UN resolutions are advisory in nature and not mandatory.
