I did not all you any bad name, only described you thinking in apt words :P

It will be blunder to buy any foreign jet after PAK-FA We need to mass produce Tejas & use numbers to fight our opponents

I don't think so. First there's no Pak-fa Naval Version. What are you going to put on the IAC-2 ?? 4.5+ Gen Fighter??? (That'd be stupid) And the Big Issue is ""Do American Allow any other fighter to be operated on their equipment (EMALS) A big No.. mericans are giving us their top end Machine is to sell us more weapons which we can't deny, and moreover Navy is already shown interests in F-35.

Tejas is not going to fighting any offensive wars. it'll be used as a point area defense. And Tejas will be in Good Numbers, so lets not worry about that here.

IAC-2 is only coming in 2030-33 and that is a good time for AMCA to be flying and be qualified.

For backup "Plan B" you already have Rafale. For "Plan C" we will have LCA Mk-II

US do not want to "sell weapon" kiddo, they want to exert "INFLUENCE".

If that reason is not good enough, EMALS is made from a separate company called General Atomic and the F-35 is made by Lockheed Martin.

The interface for the EMALS can either be changed or adopted for Indian Naval aircrafts. So its a Non Issue.

Finally Indian Navy has RULED OUT the F-35. What part of this do you NOT understand ? Tejas will do whatever ROLE is assigned to it.

Today i will teach you how to interpret USA diplomatic jargons used for showing closeness and extended friendship, cooperation and boosting local country's economy by participation of US companies

Take the example below

US "helping" India to "make engine" for "next combat jets"

Helping == Earning money from
Make engine = make them buy engines from us with we sharing nothing
next combat jets = our old combat jets like F18/F16

So the line becomes

US "Earning money from" India to "make them buy engines from us with we sharing nothing" for "our old combat jets like F18/F16"

You forgot to add ,

Helping == Ensuring their foreign policy will perpetuate our Hegemony and ensure supremacy of the USD.

so the line becomes,

US earning money and ensuring Hegemony over India to make them by engines from us while we share nothing for our old old compant jets which we are looking to phase out and Replace with modern jets like F22 and F-35.

First of all AMCA would not come anywhere by 2030, IAC-II will be coming by 2027-29

backup plan,!!! certainly not Rafale, LCA on the Indian navy's most Prestigious Ship!!! Are you Nuts??? LCA will only be used along with Migs on IAC-1 rest of them will be used from shore

And how do you get influenced ??? Selling F-35 and EMALS, Apache, Chinooks, c-130, c-17, p-8i, M777 are all of them are the package of Influence.

Damnnnnnn..:hitwall: GE or LM who ever develop machines, at the end they'll go through US Govt. if you want Emals then you've to buy F-35.

It can be changed but would you be allowed to change??? Certainly not only time will tell. and its highly unlikely Us would allow.

When did Indias Navy Ruled out the possibility of F-35 please do post me a link. Navy Never said that, they're still interested in F-35.

Again Placing Tejas on a nuclear carrier by 2027-30 when Chinese would be having 5th gen fighters launched from their N-Carriers and Artificial Islands is highly idiotic.

Get rid of that myth. Would CAS to the ground forces be considered offensive or defensive? Say when they are attacking the enemy? Tejas can do that quite well, if the heavies can maintain air superiority.

Tejas can also act as a radar-silent shooter, with MKI being the hunter. (The bisons do that today.)

Tejas may not be suitable for air superiority or deep strikes into enemy territory, but it can and will do a lot more than point defence.

ya for CAS its fine.. but that would happen only after Air superiority is gained. But the Important thing you're not understanding Pak-fa or FGFA is for Airforce while F-35 is for Navy. If ever AMCA or FGFA naval version comes then Navy would procure it. bbut again if Americans are not allowing us to use any other fighters from EMALS then we must need f-35 if we want EMALS.

When the news article itself said the theoretical date of commission is 2029, how the hell did you come up with 2027 ? putt it out of your @ss ?

Are you saying 15 years is not enough to build and test AMCA ?

And what has "prestige" got anything to do with it  ...... IN sees more "Prestige" in flying INDIAN AIRCRAFT'S than Foreign Aircraft's. IN will support LCA even when IAF will not.

You can BET that In will be the rist to opt for AMCA.

And how do you get influenced ??? Selling F-35 and EMALS, Apache, Chinooks, c-130, c-17, p-8i, M777 are all of them are the package of Influence.

All these buys are TACTICAL and NOT STRATEGIC. We have Plan B for all those buys. An AC is a Strategic platform so it will not have ANY possible US string.

The influence comes from EUMA, also known as End User Monitoring Agreement. Educate yourself out of Ignorance. Then come to the table to discuss "influence". The Influence comes from CISMOA, LSA and BECA.

Damnnnnnn..:hitwall: GE or LM who ever develop machines, at the end they'll go through US Govt. if you want Emals then you've to buy F-35.

Utter Rubbish. .......... why does the Charles de gaulle use US catapult with Rafale ?

IN has said it prefer Rafale. You can google it. But IN has a philosophy of supporting Indian programs, NOT Foreign.

LOL... what is highly idiotic is to assume china has a N-carrier and an artificial sand island that has logistical support to launch aircrafts :cheesy:

By the time china gets and learns to use an AC, India will have AMCA too.
