We need something tangible, China is offering that to us. Also we need it now, living without even a fan in 49*C in heat is not a nice feeling, especially for the children.

We also need cheep and clean energy. Present thermal generated energy is very less, costly and affecting environment too. Nuclear, hydro, solar and wind technologies are welcomed

Pakistan needs to tackle its energy issues on multiple fronts and with multiple countries at the same time.

We need to diversify and address the issue and not rely on the assistance of only one country right, but rather on multiple sources and more importantly/primarily on our own domestic plans to resolve it.

Other countries include:

Pakistan- Domestic energy projects
Iran -natural gas pipeline and electricity
Tajikistan - surplus electricity
China- Nuclear reactors
US - energy development projects
Alternative energy development.

Our energy requirement is growing day by day, and we need to plan for the future, in this endeavour, there can be no compromise.

Im also looking forward to hearing news on the introduction of Solar and Wind power energy in Pakistan alongside more high-tech nuclear reactors.

Pakistan must move ahead with two nuclear plants Chasma. We also have to give tender for much delayed two 1000 MW nuclear plants for Karachi. These dirty coal plants are another America trick like 1998 to stop our peaceful nuclear program. They offer India nuclear plants while offer dirty coal plans to Pakistan. We did not heed to US tricks in 1998 and will not in 2010 either. Nuclear all the way.
