US threatens the rest of the world, saying "We will remember this day"

Silly rants and toothless chest-thumping in this thread notwithstanding, one thing is clear:

US is super strong, but there is greater strength in global unity.

.
Good enough for me. :D
Are you sure? Remember Major Hassan? The medical officer who committed a mass shooting that the Obama Administration referred to as "workplace violence"? He claimed he had "switched sides". As the prosecutor put it:

[he] can never be a martyr because he has nothing to give... Do not be misled; do not be confused; do not be fooled. He is not giving his life. We are taking his life. This is not his gift to God, it's his debt to society. He will not now and will not ever be a martyr.

By taking the service oath the U.S. prosecutor considered that Hasan had made a superseding religious commitment to be the deciding factor in case of conflict with any other religious convictions.

Did taking the oath mean that Hassan was no longer a Muslim? You tell me. It's not my business, neither as a Jew nor as an American.

P.S.: Hassan was sentenced to death, though he has not yet been executed.

So what feat of actual strength has been demonstrated by the UNGA vote? Claim all the moral high ground as you want, but international geopolitics plays by its own rules.

Not quite. Article VI, paragraph 3 of the U.S. Constitution:

The Senators and Representatives before mentioned, and the Members of the several State Legislatures, and all executive and judicial Officers, both of the United States and of the several States, shall be bound by Oath or Affirmation, to support this Constitution; but no religious Test shall ever be required as a Qualification to any Office or public Trust under the United States.

The point of this clause is that in accepting their sworn office or service any actions that might otherwise be dictated by an office-holder's religious convictions are to be subordinated to the U.S. Constitution. A devoted Catholic employed as a clerk can't refuse to register a lawful gay marriage, nor can a Muslim marine refuse lawful orders to kill jihadis on the grounds that his observance of religion dictates that he supports their cause.

"I, ----------, do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; and that I will well and faithfully discharge the duties of the office on which I am about to enter. So help me God."
Listen Zionist, no matter how you try to spin it, USA is not a Christian country, as the Evangelical Christians would like to dream it to be. lol.

The murderous Nidal Hassan was another idiot. Why did he kill innocent people? He is an idiot.

(It might even be you! )

Nah, i will pass :P but who knows if my Wife or future kids would want to, i won't stop them :p:

Yes, this is EXACTLY my concern.

I'm worried that the crimes of the US government are simply blamed on the "Zionists", making people focus their attention on Zionists and Israel, instead of the real culprit which is the US government.

I hear it all the time on this forum, "It's not the fault of America, America is good! It's just the Zionists that are bad!"

@war&peace @salarsikander - Just my opinion.

I don't consider Israel a threat much beyond their borders. The real troublemaker is the USA.

One thing i can assure you brother, that Jews will never Fight with anyone face to face .. read about the History of the Jews every battle they fought with Empires they were decimated, in fact in their own History they ask God to Fight while they chill, their history is full of treachery and schemes , even with WARS with Arabs they have the entire Allied forces behind them without their Support Egypt and Syria would have swallowed them in one battle, Jews rely on one strategy that let their enemies and friends fight each other while they stand at far side and Chill .. I have no shame in accepting that when it comes to Intelligence Jews are very ahead of Muslims ..

LOL. America will do whatever serves its national interests. The rest will take care of itself.

Well there is other countries that Pakistanis like to immigrate to like Canada, UK, Australia, and Germany.

China is a possibility, but one has to learn their language first.

Same goes for Germany.

Yeah, anywhere but Pakistan. That, by itself, says a lot.

Now can we please get back to the topic of this thread?

Oh come on!!!

She is only doing her job!! She will be replaced if she is not doing what she is told to do. Give her a break

. . .
How is it in your interest to decimate American standing amongst numerous states for the sake of israel?

The zionist lobby have America well and truly fcuked

Pursuing national interests is not a popularity contest.

The present structure of the Middle East is predicated on Israel being a focal point for others to resist, if you can grasp that concept.

Thats not true. I have many relatives living in Pakistan.

And they say Pakistan is getting better by the year.

Your words would be more credible when you decide to move there since it is getting so much "better by the year".
