The funny thing is, when you hear the American analysts on their media, they are saying the same thing after this UN debacle. Americans know, if they go alone, powers like China and Russia will move in.

In fact that's why big American aid recipients like Egypt and Iraq were happy to vote against the USA, despite all the threats.
