US think tank rules out possibility of Indo-Pak nuclear war

It is not an issue of Water , Himalyas or land. It is about humanitarian crisis & effectiveness of UN. It is about prevention of WWIII. It is about implementation of the lessons learnt from WWIl. It is about solution of conflicts as per international laws. God forbid if global community failed then WWIII will be inevitable simply because we as human of the world failed to impliment lessons learnt from WWII.

Absolute Garbage

SO WW3 will START unless PAKISTAN GETS INDIA to give up ITS entire State and 3 million indian citizens

YES they are Indians ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, Not Pakistanis

BUT you carry on with your WW3 visions

Because no one else IS listening about Kashmir

.
So your opinion is that unless UN carries out a plebiscite in Kashmir, it risks unleashing WW3? A bit far-fetched, but okay, it is your opinion.
Yes it risks Failure of UN. Failure of world community. Failure of mechanism to resolve differences peacefully. Failure to Impliment lesson learnt from WWII. A simple & straight reason of WWIII.

Not much of a risk, it seems to me. None of the failures you mention are likely to happen due to Kashmir. After all, UN is working as it has since its inception. The world community carries on just fine. Solving differences peacefully is called negotiation, and it seems to be doing just fine the world over. The lessons of WW2 have been long implemented, just look at Europe now. So which one of these would be a simple reason for WW3?

The important lesson of world War 2 is about dispute resolution. Absence of mechanism to resolve difference between states resulted into Global catastrophe. That's why I think if UN is not effective enough to resolve differences between states as per rule of law & global human right values then it is going to fail sooner or later miserably. You said world community is just fine with the status quo. I agree , it's true. It's true & it is the actual recipe of global disaster again. World community is just fine with lingering disputes between two nuclear states.

The UN may yet fail, but it will likely be later than sooner, and Pakistan will have to wait for it. After all, all the world's nuclear powers have unresolved disputes and no WW3 has broken out so far.

And Finally IK, highlighted possibility of Unthinkable in Kashmir equation

And yet, despite that wonderful speech, Kashmir as a nuclear flashpoint remains unlikely. After all, if the risk was perceived to be as grave as PMIK wants the world to believe, UNSC would be taking up the matter as a matter of urgency.

.
UN must act before it's too late. Appeasement of India blinded the world. The sole reason of existence of UN is to solve issues before they result into unthinkable.

With nut jobs on helms of affairs in New-Delhi i wish all the luck in universe to UN.

So what UN actions are expected to follow from PMIK's most powerful speech?
