The United States (US) has urged its citizens to reconsider travel to Pakistan mainly due to terrorism and risks to civil aviation operating within or near the country. The Federal Aviation Administration, in a notice issued on Wednesday, said that terrorist groups continue to plot possible attacks in Pakistan.

“Reconsider travel to Pakistan due to terrorism,” the State Department said in a latest travel advisory. It asked Americans not to travel to Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) provinces, including the former Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA), due to terrorism, and Azad Jammu and Kashmir area due to terrorism and the potential for armed conflict.

Terrorist groups continue plotting possible attacks in Pakistan, it said, adding that terrorists may attack with little or no warning, targeting transportation hubs, markets, shopping malls, military installations, airports, universities, tourist locations, schools, hospitals, places of worship and government facilities.

Noting the threat of terrorism in Balochistan and KP including the erstwhile FATA, the State Department said large-scale terrorist attacks have resulted in hundreds of casualties over the last several years. India and Pakistan maintain a strong military presence on both sides of the border, the warning said.

The only official Pakistan-India border crossing point for persons who are not citizens of India or Pakistan is in the province of Punjab between Wagah, Pakistan, and Attari, India, the advisory said. Urging its citizens not to travel to Azad Jammu and Kashmir, the US State Department claimed militant groups are known to operate in the area. “The threat of armed conflict between India and Pakistan remains. Indian and Pakistani military forces periodically exchange fire across the Line of Control,” it added.

Pulwama (like Indian airbase) attack is an Inside job. Who's the beneficiary here - - - yup yup name it... yes its Nirandra Modi in his internal politics. And USA knew about it upfront? Wao USA and Kashmiri Liberation Movement is sharing details... or was that USA and state of India.

But make no mistake... Pakistan was and will never be a target you could take on. You tried surgical strike and to date you are still looking for a photo to shut your opposition's or laughing Pakistanis. Try something again and get same response back. :azn:

Which is why US is not on the list of countries for visa on arrival. We donot even consider americans to visit Pakistan other than Expats. This is exactly why we are focusing on Europe. Americans can keep visiting India and get raped.

Not to worry. At least the travel advisory states "American tourists are safe in occupied Kashmir especially on the highways where MRAPS are recommended".

LOL No one gives a shit about these stupid rednecks.

If the Yanks had real guts they would remove their embassy out of Pakistan.

This controversial advisory was given before Pulwama attack

:disagree:

Even if it was given after the attack zero fvck is given to US concerns.

A coward nation that begs Pakistan to bring the Taliban to the negotiation table and back stabs us through Afghanistan.

Let the Americans go to India. We don't want them in Pakistan. All they do is kill anyway. Sometimes humans sometimes animals.

Advisory was before the attack. Bhartis trying to make everything seems to be working as a result of that drama conducted by bharti military.

Attack in Kashmir and warning to not travel to Pakistan? Is US indirectly saying Kashmir is Pakistan? As per Indian logic ... and dhoti band ke sab kuch apna banane pe lagay hain? Har waqt akar kis baat ki dikhate rehte hain ye log?

Why would such a caution come at a time when the security situation appears to have improved greatly in recent times?

Hindus of India are once again trying to fool their citizen, This must be because of Modi's pressure on Trump

Why would such a caution come at a time when the security situation appears to have improved greatly in recent times?

it has its political reason and blackmailing which US is famous for, this security warning is 15 year old and I dont think Pakistan care about any white American coming to Pakistan but only Pakistani American and they dont give shit about these fake warnings.

They can tell me to reconsider, doesn't mean I'm going to.

Haven't these areas always received US advisory since the beginning of WOT.

It could also be related and I am sure it plays a part that Pakistan has recently been doing work to increase its tourism with embassies holding events to attract people to areas for tourism expansion and many of the highlights includes places like balochistan hills and mud volcanoes in kpk the city of Peshawar and northern kpk along with northern areas... Improvement of security situation doesn't mean that US will trust will give it thumbs up by not issuing a negative advice fr its citizens.. And I am sure the US telling us repeatedly that they think that we have Taliban sanctuaries in those areas doesn't help.

They didn't issue advisory for Punjab and sindh and they focused on the civil right protests as well.
