US, Taliban ‘finalise draft deal’ to end 17-year-long conflict in Afghanistan

.
IF this news is true, it is a very welcome development. However, with all the fake news being thrown around by the enemies, it is important that we check with authenticity of the news. Lets wait and see if anything official comes through.

The best thing in this deal is US will abandon political parties which involves in corruption. Trump success is best thing happened to Pakistan along with IK win in election.Trump has no political lackey in Pakistan like Obama had and Bush had.
I see more tough times to these crooks parties and theior leadership in coming days beacuse military is pretty much moving back to peace times.

.
According to sources, Taliban offered assurances that Afghanistan will not be allowed to be used by al Qaeda and Islamic State militants to attack the United States and its allies – a key early demand of Washington.

So USA accepted that, Taliban has the Power to do so, and they Puppet Govt in Kabul is useless. Clearly show Taliban in Control now and after, where Kabul rang baaz will be.
Modi ki to isolation ho gai.

US troops moving out of A-stan also means that their strategy to destabilize China and Central Asia has been put on the back-burner. Now this is huge. The only logical explanation is that Pakistan simply refused to be a front line state, and provide any logistical and supply support to the US. Remember all those visits few months by high-profile US Senators like the now dead McCain and other military Generals to pressure Pakistan. Looks like Pakistan withstood huge pressure and arm twisting and said NO.

.
Well what we need to see here is that, prior to withdrawal, US is getting this “commitment” from the Taliban rather than the Afghan govt or ANA. And the “commitment” being asked is only for support against terrorisim, which took 17 years to realize as the key to resolving this conflict - the question is by who? The taliban? US? Or both?

It is still too early to say what the outcome will be. It is not done until the final documents are signed.

Taliban negotiators and United States officials meeting in Qatar on Saturday finalised clauses to be included in a draft agreement to end the 17-year-old Afghan war, according to Taliban sources.

Details provided by the sources include apparent concessions from both sides, with foreign forces to be withdrawn from the country in 18 months from the future signing of the deal.

US special peace envoy Zalmay Khalilzad is heading to Afghan capital Kabul to brief President Ashraf Ghani after the end of the six-day talks, the sources and a diplomat said.

It is unclear whether a joint statement will be issued, or whether the provisions have been fully accepted by the US side.

According to sources, Taliban offered assurances that Afghanistan will not be allowed to be used by al Qaeda and Islamic State militants to attack the United States and its allies – a key early demand of Washington.

The Taliban say that they will finalise a timeline for a ceasefire in Afghanistan but will only open talks with Afghan representatives once the ceasefire is implemented.

Other clauses include a deal over the exchange and release of prisoners from the warring sides, the removal of an international travel ban on several Taliban leaders by the United States and the prospect of an interim Afghan government after the ceasefire is struck, the Taliban sources said.

Last week, Pakistan and the United States agreed to push for the ‘intra-Afghan dialogue’ to seek a political solution to the lingering war in Afghanistan, even as both sides struggled to convince the insurgents for direct talks with the Kabul administration.

“Meetings here were more productive than they have been in the past. We made significant progress on vital issues,” Khalilzad tweeted after six days of talks with the Taliban in Qatar.

no point trying to save the world. us and allies are in zero position to say or do anything. they are not gods

Finally! With US gone, so will the Indian influence and Pakistan's western border will once again be at peace. No more TTP sheltering or the Jamat-al-Har or the Indian balochs. Pakistan deserves a pat on its back. We did a wonderful job. All those jibes at us, drone attacks, terrorist attacks resulting in the killing of 60000 Pakistanis, the loss of our jawans in fight against terror, Pakistan stood its ground.

I just wish that Turkey has a huge presence in this part of the world with extensive investments in all areas possible....
Pakistan and US need to invade Afghanistan again , but this time to buy companies and mineral resources and bomb them with money and shower them with mother of all commerce.

18 months is a long time.

This agreement will most likely meet the same fate as the Iran agreement ... terminated by the US. All that'll be needed is one false flag.

Civil war will escalate in Afghanistan with major spill over across our borders. Americans will leave the blackwater contractors incharge of all parties fighting against Afghan Taliban. Watch how large US arms supplies will get in the hands of ISIS just like it happened in Iraq.

Pakistan can now move the Infantry Divs of Strike Corps to their original positions i.e. Eastern Border.

After completing the fence work, a mechanism will be established and luckily the Duran Line will never be the same (open and visa less). Pakistan already announced to build Observation Posts and Forts along whole the Western Border Fence so it will be a simple well observed border with light infantry and paramilitary level deployment.

The battle hardened and experienced units from Infantry, Armor, Artillery will come back to their original jobs which will numerically a bad news for Indian IBGs plan (Cold Start Doctrine).

Not really.
We can't abandon that border any more like we used to back in the days.
The threat of insurgency and specially the likes of ISIS will always be there. We need to recruit and train a fresh force that is able to handle that border now on and keep a check on the fence.
The whole point of fencing would be gone if we were to withdraw troops from there.

False flags are expected from RAW this time, if not Mossad.
Trump might have his things but these people ain't letting him do his thing that easily.
They might even target Taliban leaders and blame it on CIA, or target American Soldiers, and make both fight each other.
Pakistan has to play very clever here.
