I just did a little research, there are 2 planes, one seems like a mannes stealth concept, and the other a UAV.
the one with Top intake look very cool. but i am not sure if that intake can provide enough air for both engines, it seems to be using 2 (in the pcitures

Iran in Possession of US Secrets

TEHRAN (FNA)- The US stealth drone which was downed by Iran last week provided Tehran's military forces with valuable intelligence data and information.





The RQ-170 UAV, dubbed The Beast of Kandahar by some media outlets, was flying over eastern Iran when the Iranian forces gained its control through a cyber attack and brought it down almost intact.

Initially, US officials denied the event, but then several options on how to react to the loss of the drone were considered, including sending a cross-border commando raid to either retrieve or destroy what was left of the surveillance craft, and delivering an air strike at the crash site.

However all were deemed too risky, since Tehran would consider such an operation an act of war, should it be discovered.

"No one warmed up to the option of recovering it or destroying it because of the potential it could become a larger incident," an unnamed official told the Washington Post.

The US first denied that the UAV could have been the victim of an Iranian hacking operation or brought down by other means. The Americans alleged that the crash damaged the drone badly enough that no secret technology could be reverse-engineered from the debris.

But Iran made all the US claims futile after it aired images and footages of the aircraft which showed that its surveillance device is almost intact.

Americans are trying to make the world believe that the drone is not much important or Iran cannot use it, but the fact that the US had three scenarios to retrieve or destroy it reveals that Washington is worried that Iran can access not only the aircraft technology, but also its top secret information.

The media outlets in Tehran are relentlessly waiting for the IRGC Aerospace Force to make some revelations about the intelligence retrieved from the drone's intelligence and data gathering systems in coming days.

The Lockheed Martin RQ-170 Sentinel was developed by the US Air Force in 2007. The UAV was used in a number of reconnaissance missions in the Middle East, most notably during the commando raid on Osama bin Laden's compound in Pakistan. The one lost in Iran was operated by a CIA remote pilot.

there are two design that are known as Sofreh-Mahi, one of is them above design and the second is this diamond shape:

But i guess diamond shape design is Sofreh-Mahi. Sofreh-Mahi in English means Manta ray ,Iranian choosed name of Sofreh-Mahi for this aircraft due to similiarty of design and shape of manta ray.

Intrestingly, Lockheed Martin has built a prototype with this diamond shape design with the name of Manta too :

Iran is the world second most advanced nation in terms of radar now.
iamgine the boost the sensors will give to them, I heard th radar the RQ-170 has is a beast.

You are dreaming from jumping to conclusions. But even if we grant you this generosity, it would be a very distant second, like in a race where Iran is one lap behind the winner.

Listen bros ... we should be honest to ourselves.
We have a good improvment. We will improve again.

But saying the be the second tech country for radars is really nothing to do with the reality.
Just check what they have here in Europe. Even Russia is much more advanced than us.

Didn't you undeerstand that from now we copy the planes we took in the past from Iraq and shah's army
to improve them
We have some foreign weapons we improve as well
But we are not in a top tech list:
from now only a few countries are considered to develop the best of high tech: from some european countries, USA of course, and Israel. Russia is not even matching them but still better than us.

Let's face the reality. There is still much work to go.

Frankly, I really wish they can revive F-14 production.

there is no secret: USA imported the big brains from Europe and Russia at a time and improved a lot their tech
now it would be hard to be better without an equivalent of this "brain drain" policy
especially when a lot of brains are leaving Iran because of many bad conditions: from social to missing equipment (even if Iran is very far from a poor country of course)
