Iran never threatens to occupy Jerusalem but they talk about liberating it from illegal occupation and returning it to its rightful owners. Rest about Beirut Baghdad and sanaa. Those countries have their own govt you cannot blame iran there. Saddam was over thrown by USA not Iran. Beirut is result of Israeli offensive not Iran. Current regime in Iran is the main sponsor of terror, sectarianism and wars around the Middle East. The sooner it falls the better. Sanctions made this day little closer.

I will accept(to a degree)that Iran does use asymmetrical means aka terrorism or/and sometimes legit armed struggle to further its aims and objectives. Okay agreed on covertly but still attacks done by Iran with respect to other nations are least. For example Israel and USA have done more attacks than Iran even in the covertly dynamics and Iran will come on the bottom of this list as well.

Only thing Iran is suffering for and facing sanctions is because they not giving western companies ownership of their oil and they are not compromising Palestine apart from that they have not done anything wrong.

Recent example is how they got on the negotiating table with those to whom they turned from mujahidin to terrorists and now after getting 17 years of beating US getting to senses.

Iran is being sanctioned for being a global state sponsor of terrorism and for trying to build a secret nuclear weapon to dominate and threaten the entire region. They occupy countries by proxy, they've initiated conflict and have caused untold thousands to die. All while their own people suffer under their brutal dictatorship, not to mention minorities like the Baha'i who're terrorised and murdered by the regime.

Oh and they were also the ones that initiated the Iran-Iraq war.
