US report faults Pakistan over Afghan war

That's the whole point! They don't!

What is said in the news is not always reflective of what's viewed or decided behind those closed doors. This is nothing but a deception to the world.

Anyways we warned them in 2001 and they didn't follow our advice to keep a cool head and avoid emotional decisions. Over a decade later it has proven to be a deeply unpopular war (America's longest)

And yet its their 'view' that carries greater currency than ours ever could ! Partly because of their position & partly because of our lack of ambition to do anything about it; we can't change the former but we can at least try to get our narrative across in case of the latter.

We're doing nothing !

Dear that's the art of perception management. On PR side we haven't done the greatest job. Our only real PR is when the ambassador addresses congress guys in Washington DC

Events of the past 2 years (as they've been REPORTED) have undermined our perspective but as far as history books in the future are concerned I believe we're on the right side of history vis a vis Afghanistan

Simple solution....Don't DO MORE. !!

Once the sh** hits the fan, all of them will come to their senses.

So much for tall claims on the success of Drone strikes.

Unfortunately these Americans are practicing the "might is right" philosophy. Its a dangerous and barbaric philosophy.

No wonder why the Afghan Taliban could not be defeated, because they believe they are fighting for JUSTICE, their FREEDOM.

The very same values Americans hold dear to themselves.

Americans on facebook are already coming to their senses. The Iraq war was just to prolong the Afghanistan war.

The US administration seems blinded by their own military strength.
It now wages wars simply because it can.

Our FO is to be blamed for non-existent response to the American campaign of stereotyping Pakistanis as barbaric, terror-loving peasants.
