Russian equipment is subpar, obsolete. Remember this, they were completely defeated in Afghanistan, their tactical mission a failure.
We, namely the Untied States and our strategic allies, largely, have succeeded in stabilizing Afghanistan and placed a government in Kabul that will serve the strategic interests of the United States/ West indefinitely.
