United States (US) President Barack Obama on Thursday night telephoned Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, PM office spokesman said in a statement to media.
The spokesman said that the two leaders telephonic conversation continued for half an hour.
The spokesman said that the US president informed the Pakistani premier about his recent visit to India.
The US President said that his country really appreciates Pakistan positive relationship with its neighbor Afghanistan adding that Pakistan decision regarding carried out operation Zarb-e-Azab against terrorists was praise worthy, the spokesman said.
The PM office spokesman added that, the Pakistani premier expressed his views that India not deserve for United Nations security council’s permanent member seat as India never implemented UN resolution on Kashmir.
Nawaz Sharif said to the US President that Pakistan wanted to be member of nuclear supplier group, spokesman said.
