US Planning to Snatch Pakistan's Nukes

Good points, but all those would already be taken into account while formulating the policy from the US side, no?
Yes, but until Pakistan actually engages in such trade at a level to cause concern, the US does not have to react.

As Israel is wiped out so will be Pakistan,

Again, the argument is that the 'threat of nuclear war and significant destruction in the region and nations mentioned' is what allows for a 'deterrent'.

The whole point is to have a 'big enough threat' that no one wants to antagonize the other side to get to a point of nuclear war.

The argument is not that 'Pakistan will be obliterated in retaliatory strikes', it likely will, but that the other side runs the risk of suffering significant enough damage to not cross Pakistan's 'red lines', and therefore avoid 'neutralizing Pakistan's nukes' and therefore 'avoid a nuclear exchange'.

To be frank, this thread reaches no where, its like finding if the EGG came first of the HEN came first. :hitwall:

That is because you are not trying to think the issue through - if two 'hostile entities' can threaten to impose similar levels of significant damage on the interests of the other, then both entities will attempt to 'avoid crossing the threshold that results in significant damage by the other' (barring madmen ala Hitler running the show).

The point of building up a very large and sophisticated nuclear weapons arsenal is to ensure that the 'threat of significant damage to the other side' is taken seriously. The nuclear arsenals biggest advantage lies in the threat it can pose, not in its actual use, and therefore its role as a 'deterrent' to the other side crossing 'red lines'.

If nukes are actually used, both sides have technically lost.

Exactly correct. Continuous monitoring will determine the need to react, if any.

Pakistan nowhere has the warheads or delivery vechicles to dent india. If the US really wants to get hold of pak nukes it need not break a q sweat

.
deterrence poses as a threat only when the enemy is impressed by your arsenal.Which is not exactly happening here in India

Dear Sir, I have gone through the whole discussion. Sorry to say but most of your arguments are suicidal for Pakistan

Do you want to be another North Korea ? seriously if you follow the path of creating more WMDs and work on fear physiology Pakistan will face the dire consequences just like Iraq and N.Korea. Yo won't be allowed to import anything even not the life saving drugs. You will be sanctioned heavily and Pakistan will die her own natural death. All your friends in gulf will leave you and buy Milisle defense system. Pakistan will be like N.Korea just another goon of china.

What kind of life you want

A. Get rid of all kind of radical fanatics, secure your border, provide better life to your people

or

B. want to be bully state which is sanctioned heavily.

If you want to pose threat to the whole world the world will tke her own measure and pakistan would be an isolated state.

see the difference?

the main entity that deterred india during 26/11 was the US which had its forces in ****** Not the pakistani nukes. If the US was not in ****** the indian response would be different

.
nukes need to be stored and bunkers need to be fortified. That is something that cannot be simply hidden

.
ho wow, what a finding, you are the man :hitwall:

I know tht man... u better understand tht stealing 100 nukes scattered all over the country on secret locations with army and PAF support...... frm a country of 180 million people (heavily armed) n the 7th largest military in the world is not a joke or a game tht u guys play on ur XBox..

If USA tries it ... it will evolve into a full scale war... which USA cant afford.

.
It takes 5 hours for trained personnel to mate a warhead and 7 hours for an untrained personnel.Your nukes are dispersed in component form

And how do u know tht a few of them are not ready to be fired? are u sure ? willing to take the risk?

Nukes in dispersed form are more hard to steal..........

.
Most the time pakistan is monitored by SAR satellites of more than one country.Pakistans nuke locations are an open secret
