It sure is getting complicated. If Russia attacks Ukraine then Europe and US will be embroiled in an Afghanistan kind of involvement, China and Pakistan will attack India and take back occupied Kashmir and other Indian occupied lands and Arabs/Iran will attack Israel , Turkey will attack Greece and Syria and reoccupy lands causing turmoil all around.

US regime hysteria. If Russia enters Ukraine out of national security concerns, US will simply foam at the mouth with watery eyes. More sanctions would come and NATO would increase presence, that's in their power. But, that would also encourage Russia to be militarily present in some South American countries. Again, there would be no Cuban Missile Crisis 2.0. US simply would absorbe it and do its own maneuver.

Russia has used its military in Georgia, Ukraine, Syria. Russia was successful in all of these operations. Broke up Georgia, got Crimea, saved Assad. Massive sanctions were applied each time. Russia hasn’t collapsed.

Russia is already under the sanctions of the West yet still growing. China is already under the sanctions of the West yet still growing. You know why? 1.Sanctions need to be implemented strictly to be effective. It is very difficult to fully implement it. 2.Economies the size of Russia and China arent as effected by sanctions and become ‘sanctions resilient’ after a while. Sanctions are about dependence on markets and technology. For example, Russia was banned from issuing bonds in Western capital markets, guess what, they issued bonds in Hong Kong and Shanghai to Chinese investors. Russia was banned from buying oil and gas drilling equipment, guess what, Russian companies developed the technology themselves and bought from Chinese companies. In fact after a period of adjustment, Russia and China has thrived.

Most sanctions are fake or ineffective. There are so many loopholes, any smart and determined actor would by-pass them at least partially. US being a populist country, politicians do lip service with their own backers in mind. They do not care much about substance, or rarely follow up. As with everything else, US bureaucracy has also decayed.

Those sanctions are child's play. A Ukrainian invasion isn't like the invasion into Georgia, or Syria. Ukraine is a very strategically important location, which is why NATO is interested in inviting it into the alliance, and the EU was interested in the Ukrainians joining the union.

An invasion of Ukraine is a direct existential threat to the EU itself, because it opens direct routes for Russia to interfere directly into the EU, because Ukraine no longer acts as a buffer state. If your brain can't comprehend something this geopolitical simple, I can't help you.

I'm not running away from you, I've just realized that dealing with you simply won't solve anything. You and other Chinese members have such a terrible reputation on this forum from all the senior members and staff, it's ridiculous. Actually it's much bigger since there are bases around the world, you would have to nuke the world. Considering Russia has only a few bases and mostly confined to Russia and have a smaller population, just 1 barrage of nukes is enough,

Britain has begun supplying Ukraine with new light anti-tank weapons in response to “the increasingly threatening behaviour from Russia”, the defence secretary, Ben Wallace, has announced.

The ratcheting up of military support comes as the Kremlin continues to increase its troop deployment by moving forces into Belarus, which borders Ukraine to the north, and is considered the most likely route for any invasion.



“We have taken the decision to supply Ukraine with light anti-armour defensive weapons systems,” Wallace told the Commons on Monday, adding that “a small number” of British troops would provide training to help Kyiv’s forces in using them.

The defence secretary insisted the arms sales were intended to be defensive, although the Russian president, Vladimir Putin, has recently complained about other Nato members selling modern weapons to Ukraine.

After Turkey sold TB2 anti-tank drones to Ukraine, Putin spoke to his Turkish counterpart, President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, and according to the Kremlin, described the arms deal as provocative.
