diplomatic immunity means the host country cannot arrest a dipomat ...it may ask him to leave but can never arrest or put him on trial.....

That's not the issue here. The issue at hand is are they allowed to carry firearms where ever and whenever they like? Is it the norm in other countries too?

raymond davis managed to escape but how will this guy escape the Pakistani populace would go bonkers if he killed Pakistanis and got off because of diplomatic immunity and the weak civilian gov't will not be able to handle such a catastrophe of internal deterioration and the army will stage a coup all i can say is fellas Mr. Afshaq Pervez Kayani will be the new leader of Pakistan by the end of this year.

Pakistani populace has other issues to deal with. It did not go bonkers during the Raymond Davis fiasco and neither people took interest in call of major strike on his release by a seasoned politician. No one gives a damn. The picture presented in the discussion forums is a FANTASY.
