MQM should have been taken apart a long long time ago. This is establishment epic fail.

Army should not have backed out and invaded the city last time MQM was attacked. If the city needs to be taken then take it PA. Don't sit on the fence waiting for something to happen.

The longer MQM remain the more disconnect there will be in society. Root it out now!

My heart goes out for our army and police men who have sacrificed their lives.

Karachiites enjoy highest education, and highest concentration of wealth and property, and dominate engineering and medicine as compared to the rest of Pakistan.

That's a good point.

Please note that most of the "slums" in Karachi are dominated by people from up north.

Descendents of Bihar/UP aka urdu speaking are generally middle and upper class as they enjoy almost 99% literacy rate. With that background, only a small minority falls through cracks and thus lives in slums.
