The first thing right off the bat is that if the US is still 'investigating' then that means that all the 'fantastic leaks' reported in the Indian media are fabricated (they cannot be verified independently given the conditions of the interrogations), or at the very least do not add up.
Otherwise the US has had access to Headley for a very long time now, and ample time and opportunity to 'investigate', so suggesting that they will do so now rubbishes Indian claims about Headley's so called 'confessions'.
