They didn't sign a "LEMOA" with us.

Yes US always used one against others, It kill its enemy on the hand of others.
I acknowledge that it can't use India for this purpose in the govt of congress,while can't say about the govt of Mdi.

Well I am happy that USA & Indians are getting cozy with each other , it gives us more leverage in strengthing our ties with other religional players such as Russia, the Russians & Chinise will be closely monitoring these development, this military agreements are not going to go down well with these 2, no matter what both Usa & Indians say...report doesn't say much about Russia, but one

Russia got nothing to do with.. If the pact is against Russian, yeah Russia-china- pak alliance is possible.. but this agreement is towards the logistical support for the US Navy ( mostly). as it was shifting it's naval presence..

US has bases in Afganistan, India has one in Kazakistan. US has strong presence in Pacific, and now Indian Ocean also (thanks to this LEOMA). Perhaps, the 9 dash line would be the arena where China can try to assert its might now. outside of it, there is a firewall.

Pakistan has shown to the world ..how a nation suffers if it gives all its cards in usa hand.
Infact india should be grateful to pakistan for showing the world what is not to be done with americans.

Russia will be irked with these latest developments of US signing defence agreements in its backward, where they have influence and defence market, US is trying to plays a very clever game here by signing these agreements, by doing this they will have a check in place for both power houses in this part of the world using a 3rd country..... China, will for sure work on intensifying technological cooperation with Russia, infact they have already started... .

But Indian media reports also noted that Prime Minister Modi did not appear much concerned about Russia’s possible reaction to his closeness to the US.

India is not Russia's backyard. Ignoring weapon sales to India for a moment Russians have very little interest in South Asia and Indian Ocean.

There will be some bitterness but kinda sily just to assume pak-china-russian alliance... can pak afford major shift against US interest.. For Russia we have huge contracts which unlikely to be replaced by pak or even china..
